Julie Dodsworth Grow Your Own Lavender

Lavender didn't grow I'm afraid but the pot is nice. Bought the sweetpea version and it was fabulous!

I bought spanish daisy, forget me not and lavender kits. The pot is beautiful, but very small. It pretty much fits in your hand. Also since it doesn't have holes in the bottom there's no drainage, so you have to water the plants very carefully because if you put too much water, it has nowhere to go and may kill them. Still I was able to make them sprout. It took them 1 week for small leaves to start showing from the soil. There's plenty of dirt so you don't have to worry about buying more. I used once some liquid fertilizer to help flowers grow and that may have helped. You can buy it at Homebase. All in all it's a nice product, but it's quite expensive, so you can get grow your own kits that come with bigger, better drained pots, for less money. I like it but wouldn't buy it again.

Like so many things these days that propose quality and value only to prove the opposite. Bought as a child’s extra birthday present, to show a plant’s growth — only it didn’t — unless you consider the eventual growth of a damp, hairy fungus on the obviously dead seeds. The only cheap thing these days are the highly inflated words used to sell trash such as this. Julie Dodsworth you should be ashamed, that is, if you actually exist.
