Cardoc Garden Twine 5 Ply Natural Jute Fillis - 400g

If you find this review helpful ... please click the little "yes" box below.This is wonderful twine. I bought it to 'weave' together with some paracord to make a survival bracelet. The jute is a natural fibre (like hemp) that is incredibly useful as tinder for starting fires when out in the wilds of ... Hertfordshire. It's probably pretty good for more mundane tasks too, like tying plants in the garden or old-fashioned closure of boxes.

Used for hanging up my Macaws bells not much I can say about that. It fulfills the purpose for which i perchased it for, although a bit opn the expensive side for a ball of string.

Great ball of string for where a sturdy tie is required around the garden. Thickness seems pretty uniform throughout the ball. Works very well for attaching young trees to bamboo stakes and doesn't look as if it will rot away within the first year or two. All iun all, the best in class I've come across to date.

This heavier than normal Garden twine does an excellent job in my polytunnel where, in the past, I have used the more readily available 3 ply twine. I have experienced disasters where the 3 ply has rotted through quite quickly and collapsed under the weight of a tomato vine. This heavier 5 ply has enough strength to last out the growing season and has the benefit of being a natural material which I prefer.

Wish I had found this earlier - used thinner ply twine to hold up tomatoes in greenhouse but have swapped over to this as much stronger and less likely to cut stems.Great to use outdoors as well as can just cut off the supports and leave on the ground to rot in - unlike nylon zip ties or plastic twine that will hang around for decades.Came packaged simply and not is a huge oversized package - well done.

Much better garden twine than you purchase from most garden centres. Significantly stronger than anything I've used before which is great for tying canes together or when fixed to fences for plants to climb up.Defiantly one to purchase again when it runs out.

We love this twine - read the packet instructions and you can remove a sticker to create a dispensing hole for the twine.The twine had been used in every part of the garden and is perfect. There’s a lot of it too, so our pack has lasted for years.The vintage style packaging is so cute and traditional that we’ve given the twine as gifts to gardeners and they’ve loved the twine too!
