Size is not as advertised 60cm not 58cm diameter so fits over my fire pit not on or in it as expected but can live with it. As others have said, paperwork states it needs painting with fire proof paint if permanent black colour is desired. As it’s just a fire guard I doubt I’ll bother.

Lightweight and malformed, does not look good, bulbous on one side.

The actual item appears to have been damaged in transit . It was just in a flat plastic bag. I am desperate to have this spark cover so i am going to try and shape it back to a more correct outline.

Needs painting with heat proof paint.Question: it's a fire guard, to be used in fire, why not use heat proof paint? Hmmmmm

Perfect size for the fire pit we have. The item was sent quickly and was very carefully packed with lots of padding which made sure that no dents or damage was done to the fire pit hood in transit.

I bought this to go with my Dancook 9000 fire pit and it fits great. You will need to invest in a can of heat proof paint (~£7) as it is only coated for transportation. It is very well made and should last for years if kept in a shed over winter.
