Impressive
I’ve probably bought more food processors than kettles in my lifetime and this time decided I would invest in a decent one. Although very early doors this one doesn’t disappoint. As another reviewer commented, huge and heavy box - I had to help the tiny delivery driver get it out of the van and into the house. Incredibly well packed, lots and lots of smaller boxes with the different bits and pieces. You will need a good amount of space to put it all - I keep my main processor unit out on the worktop as I’m more likely to do things by hand for smaller jobs if the machine is tucked away. The base unit for this is heavy and I really wouldn’t be wanting to lug it out of a cupboard or off a shelf too regularly. But the rest of the bits and pieces need a home. The box containing the cutting discs is big and takes up half a cupboard shelf alone.I’ve yet to put it through its paces properly but I made some coleslaw and got so carried away with the powerful cutting that I kept feeding the beast until the massive jug was full. A lot of coleslaw! I’m too impatient to read manuals and hope I can figure things out for myself. This was pretty intuitive although I did have to refer to the instructions when I couldn’t get it started - it puts itself into standby when left turned on at the mains but inactive for more than 30 minutes. It also has another feature that the motor won’t turn without the metal rod on the large feeder tube bring in contact with the lid. There’s a useful little card with pictures and descriptions of the different discs - really handy to keep with the discs as it might not to obvious to some. The motor is pleasingly powerful, but the dogs didn’t flinch when it whizzed into action.I get a bit lured by machines that perform many actions and then regret not focusing on what I really need rather than the useful as not many appliances can do multiple jobs all to a high standard. That did run through my mind when I started to consider this as a contender and I have to say it looks like it will do all the main jobs extremely well. The blender is big and made of heavy glass, there’s a spice/coffee bean mill, a smaller bowl that fits inside the larger one for less huge quantities. It comes with most discs they make - the only one missing is the chipper - I don’t really make chips but I’m thinking it would be a half way house to dicing veg - with me doing the final cut by hand. One to ponder. The juicer looks good.I bake only once in a blue moon so doubt the whisking and folding attachments will see much action but I may break them out on occasion.A pricey machine but I have no regrets and absolutely look forward to using it regularly. I’m very happy it’s got a 5 year warranty, that feels appropriate for this level of investment. I also saved a bit by buying an open box from a Warehouse deal - full price was £364, I paid £302 for a machine with no cosmetic faults, just it had been unpacked and repacked (I assume returned due to the size).I’m hopeful this will be my final food processor purchase!

A truly awesome kitchen appliance.
I was able to purchase this unit from Amazon Warehouse on Black Friday. I was a little worried about what condition it would be in when it was opened, but I had nothing to worry about as other than the box, all items were unused. A complete bargain in my eyes! The machine is brilliant. We try and make fresh home cooked food for our toddler and it can be quite a big chore on the weekend to batch cook. But with this machine (please note I have only had it a week), so far I have been able to get ingredients ready to bake muffinsand cakes and it also grates vegetables effortlessly. I am looking forward to seeing what else it can go with all the other accessories. The only downside is that it is large and heavy, so it and it's accessories do need lots of storage space. Also cleaning it can be a little fiddly, but most of the accessories are dish washer friendly. The only other thought I have is that the buttons that control the weighing scale feature can get, for example, flower stuck around the rubber buttons making the cleaning a little tricky. Perhaps future versions could leave the display on the top but have the buttons on the side. Those niggles so far aren't enough to not rate this a 5 star item though. Highly recommended. If things change I will update this review.

Box is ginormous, every item is in its own separate box. This screams professional.
When this first arrived I was very apprehensive, wondered if I'd bought too much as the box is absolutely massive., took me a few days to go thru everything as all the items come in their own individual boxes in that great big humongous box. But I get there in the end, there's so much to this food processor.I did have a cheaper version which was similar, but that one was so much lighter as the bowls were all plastic. My only niggle about this is the thermo glass jug, it's so heavy what with being so big and thick sturdy glass., but it's extremly quick and powerful to blend., also it doubles up to be a soup maker which is absolutely brilliant.I wasn't prepared to spend quite this much tbh, but b'cs 1) has all the blades in the attachments already,2) liked the idea of the power of the blender, 3) also that it comes with the multimill, 4) Jug is Thermo glass so doubles up as a soup blender. I haven't used the discs yet nor the citrus press as Iv got an extremly powerful juicer that I use instead.I think the metal body is stylish, also how large the feedtube; much larger than my previous one.It comes with a lovely cookbook; I so wish I could have a chef of my own to cook those scrumptious meals as I haven't got the time to prepare recipes. It does take time to get used to everything, it's hard when you've only a limited amount of space and get frustrated when got no where to keep/store items/cookwear., If I put things away I never seem to use those items so I prefer to have everything out and then have to use the dining table as a countertop to prepare/dish food out; it's so frustrating....I'd love to have a large kitchen, but I'm no where sorry for purchasing this MultiPro Sense Food Processor from Kenwood. A big help in the kitchen.A nice healthy breakfast smoothie recipe:Tablespoon of porridge oats + Granola,Pint of milk,1 banana, crushed dates, few strawberries,1tablespoon Protein powder,1dessert spoon nut butterHandful of seeds, handful of nutsBlend for 2/3 minutes on highLovely and silky to drink immediately*If consistency is too thick, put little bit more milk and blend again/or stir milk in*
