Perfect for my 2 cats
I have 2 cats and don't own a car. This is a life saver for vet visits, moving home, etc! It's big enough to carry both and they seem much more comfortable than in hand carriers. It's more stable than a hand carrier. They usually meow a LOT while in a hand carrier, but inside the stroller they're quiet most of the time. They seem to be less scared because they are together and they're distracted looking at things outside. I like that there's no zipper! They're very mischievous and would probably find a way to open a normal zipper. They couldn't find a way to escape this at all. My only complaint is that the instructions were INSIDE the closed stroller and figuring out how to open and assemble it was a a bit complicated. But I definitely recommend it to anyone! I which I got it sooner!

Excellent
My dog had an operation on her knee and had to be carried out into the garden, as could not use the steps. However I have mobility issues and was unable to carry her into the garden. This solved the problem. You might be wondering why she is facing backwards :) that is because she was nervous in it and had to look at me for comfort.

Easy to assemble and push
I loved the ease of first time assembly with clear instructions. The pram is very easy to push. My older dog loves going into it and snuggles down. My only complaint is that the straps are not big enough to fit round my 10.7 kilo Sheltie. I have to put on his harness and attach it to the pram buckle, which means he is not fully secure. But this pram has certainly been a success and I can take him on my longer walks, instead of leaving him at home.Only problem is that it is not waterproof. Rain soaks through. I’ll need to buy a rain cover.

Good size
We have bought this dog stroller so that that we can take our 13 year old westie on holiday with us to Cornwall - so not yet used the stroller outside but have tried it indoors - our westie is about 10kg and there is plenty of room for him to lay down - easy to assemble although a bit cumbersome when folded down.

Lightweight but sturdy pushchair.
My little elderly dog loves his pushchair , and so do I. It is lightweight yet sturdy, plenty of comfortable room for him( he weighs 7 k) It is easy to manoeuvre. The only thing I would change is the colour, I would prefer it to be a navy blue instead of sapphire blue.

Crapgear. Avoid.
Poor quality. Locks don’t fit easily so needs jiggling. So twisted the fabric snagged on the frame and stitching came undone. Sending it back

Only good on pavements not grassland
Overall pleased handle could be a bit lower very unsteady on rougher ground even parkland

Started to split after light use
Despite genuinely being used less than a dozen times, and the passenger a small chihuahua, the weight bearing base of the stroller has split in two places at the seams.I love the look of this stroller, but I am incredibly disappointed with the quality and durability.

Another great Pet Gear stroller!!
Before I bought my first Pet Gear (zip up stroller), I'd made the mistake of buying another brand, to save a few bucks. It was a back breaker - had to lean over to push it, the wheels were cheap & got stuck like a bad grocery cart and the zipper was constantly coming off, taking several mins each time I wanted to zip it when I put my pet inside. So, I eventually ditched that and bought the first version of the Pet Gear (zip up) stroller about 4 1/2 yrs ago. It was used 4+ times a week for an avg of 2 miles thru both street & park surfaces. It held up well over that time until the zipper finally gave out a month ago. My dog is a 6lb chihuahua, so I was surprised that the zipper gave out & not the wheels nor brakes, etc. However, the new non-zip stroller with shocks is a great improvement over the previous stroller. My dog has a larger viewing area in front, she sits deeper in the stroller, which I appreciate for safety reasons. When I had the zip up stroller, I left the front open while strolling in the park one day & to my surprise - she jumped out. Luckily, she didn't get hurt as we were on grass, however - I learned my lesson to use the security strap inside the stroller to attach via the collar and to keep it fully zipped. These are well built, excellent quality strollers - well worth the $. The top has better rain protection than the previous stroller, which had mostly mesh on the top. This one has a smaller, easily covered mesh area on top in case of rain. The larger mesh front allows for a larger viewing area for your pet, as well as for ventilation. The shocks on this model were also an impressive improvement. The stroller easily goes over bumps, etc while reducing the impact to the pet.It still has a security line inside (much like a short leash) which u can affix to your pet's collar to keep them safe & secure in the event u want to open up the front, as well as just keep them safe while inside. This new clamp front gives you more flexibility in how much u want the front open. You can leave it fully clamped, closed w/out clamping, partially open, or fully open - something u can't do on the zip up model. The wheels are just as durable as the last model. I compared the new tires to the old ones - you can barely tell them apart, so they haven't skimped on quality over the years. At first glance, they may appear cheap as they're made of plastic, but the old ones are still in great shape after nearly 5 yrs of weekly use.The only change I wish they hadn't made is the size of the carryall below the stroller, which is 1/2 the size. The old stroller had a full-sized carry all. I keep water bottles, a foldable water container as well as bags down there, and it'd be nice if it were full sized, but that's a small matter. These strollers are extremely easy to assemble out of the box, as well as to fold them up (there are hand holds on each side which u simply pull back on & it folds down easily), as well as to unfold it (u put your foot on the axle bar (containing the brakes) and pull back on the handle until it fully opens & the wheels lock in. Both folding & unfolding take seconds. Same as the last model. I'm truly glad they didn't change this design from the last model as it's so easy to manage, even for those of us w/ orthopedic problems.I'd highly recommend the NO ZIP stroller over the zip stroller. It's well worth the extra few $ for not having to worry about the zipper eventually giving out, as well as the added features of shocks, pet viewing area, the top rain exposure & flexibility in how open/closed u want to keep the front. As someone who has owned a Pet Gear stroller for almost 5 years now, I can assure you - they are durable, easy to use, and a great value.

Passeggino
