WECK743 3/4 Mold Jar - Box of 6

Love these jars! I purchased them for sourdough starter, which they are perfect for, but I find myself using them for so much more. The wide mouth makes it easy to get your spatula in there and get the last bits out. Weck jars are great quality in general and seal is great. Would definitely purchase another set if needed. Yes, they are a bit more than some others but in my opinion worth it.

I bought these for sourdough starter storage. They’re expensive but I like them. They don’t take up as much room in my fridge as a mason jar and I can use them for other food storage. They are finicky— putting the rubber ring on takes patience but they do seal and you get the hang of it with practice.

These Weck jars are so perfect for so many things! My main reason for buying them was for making sourdough starter but I immediately used them to store sliced cucumbers, cooked chicken cubes, home made tzatziki, and home made pizza sauce.I love how clean and beautiful they look. They feel very well made and are easy to clean by hand. These jars are truly air tight and you have to be careful when opening because the lid can be hard to take off after you’ve stored something inside. I will slowly be switching some of my pantry storage to these jars. These are the 3/4 L size but I do wish they made larger ones. I’d use these jars for everything. They stack easily and save tons of space as well!As for sourdough, these are especially great because you can easily see what’s inside and the jar only has their logo embossed on one side of the jars whereas Ball mason jars - there’s embossing all around the jar. So this allows you to use a glass marker to label easily. The lid can be nested on top without the ring and clamps which is helpful for allowing just the right amount of gases into your starter.These were such a great buy! I waited forever to buy them because they’re pricey - but trust me, you won’t run out of ways to use them and they’re worth every penny!

Why, oh why didn't I buy these sooner?? Feeding and maintaining a sourdough starter is at least 4 million times easier now. The jars all weigh the same, so it takes the guesswork out of feeding, the sides are smooth and tapered so mixing is a snap, and the lid is perfect for allowing air to escape. The quality is fantastic and the price for 6 jars is unbeatable!

I like the straight sides for different usage easier to clean. Right size also for me. Good quality seal.

These were perfect for sure sour dough starter. Very well made and sealed great. The glass is thick and it was wide enough to mix.

These are really nice jars. I used them for sourdough starter and they did the job really nice. I ended up returning them because I didn’t need 6.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I have the 16 oz wide mouth mason jars, but needed something a bit larger and these work great. I also bought the matching white plastic covers. I looked at the other silicone covers, but the colors were really ugly (orange, light blue, yellow) and thought the plain white looked best. Why buy these pretty jars and put an ugly top? Also, the 6 jars arrived in perfect condition, none broken.
