Easy to learn game of bluff- full of fun!
Game is a joy to inbox. It's pretty simple to play and by the second game our family gathering was in full festive swing Thanks to SoN. The expansion pack is clever because you can use it merely to add a 6th player (more or less) or add subtleties that I'm sure will keep the game fresh for some time. It is real gentle fun! Scoring is a tad tedious at the end. But apart from that - super game! Thoroughly recommend it!

Better Then Cosmic.
If you thought the original game was too tight , well this adds ,more mayhem, makes it play a wee bit more like Cosmic encounters. Prefer this though any day. This is the better game in my opinion.

Great expansion
We love SoN and the expansion makes it even better. Simple concept where you bluff, make alliances and try to outwit the other smugglers. Best played with 4+ people.And it's an expansion. Only wrote this review as someone had two-starred this as the only review!!!

Great game design but...
A great expansion that adds a lot of variety to an already great game.However, I couldn't give it 5* as the Merry Men board is too big to fit in the box neatly by 2mm. I wouldn't normally complain about such a minor thing but it didn't need to be that big just to place cards on it.

Good expansion with nice production value
This expansion really ups the game play of the base game. Everything is well made, almost too well made-- the finish on these cards and boards is actually nicer than my first-edition base game (which is from before CMON got on board, I think), but it doesn't really matter since I sleeve my cards. The design on the new player board is a little different than in the base game as well, but that doesn't bother me. If you have the second edition (blue box) version of the game you don't need this since it's included in that box (and this one won't mesh visually anyway). Well worth getting if you have the first edition (orange box)!

My mistake
Purchased by mistake. Thought this was the actual game but its just the expansion pack. Now game is discontinued and expansion pack is no good :( My son has this game and my other son loves it so wanted to get him his own.
