I was super excited to get this hook in. The packaging was excellent without being overly done. When I ordered it, I assumed it was going to be wood. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed when I opened it to find a plastic hook. I didn't want to like it. It is still pretty, even though it is plastic. I didn't want to like it. Then I used it. Oh my goodness, I love this hook. I am now finding myself buying yarn bassed on if I can use this hook. I have NEVER, in 30 years of crocheting, purchased yarn so I could use a certain hook until now. I'm a Susan Bates hook lover through and through. Every hook I use, I immediately compare it to that brand with the bamboo handles. I love how the Bates hooks grab and hold on to the yarn, I love how they poke through tight weaving. Let me tell you, this Ommi has caused me to leave Susan in the drawer. It pokes though maybe even a bit easier. It grabs on. I will say yarn does tend to slip of it just a pinch more often than the Susan Bates hooks, but I do go really fast. I don't think most people would notice. What sets it apart though is how fast it slips through the yarn and how comfortable and lite it is to hold. I am definitely ordering more of these!

I received my hook 10 minutes ago. I opened the absolutely pristine box and removed the hook. Then I went back into the box and removed the end of the hook. It was broken clean off and was either shipped this way or they are so fragile that just being shaken around inside the box caused it to break, nothing was crushed. I can't imagine how sturdy these are to crochet with and very fortunately I will never know. You don't want to go here, you will be eternally sorry.

I love this hook but the head snapped off after several days of use. Unfortunately the return window was one day before it broke. The package says 90 day return policy but unfortunately I can’t get ahold of anyone from the manufacturer. I’m so disappointed.

The hook fits nicely in my hand and moves through the stitches smoothly. Looks beautiful

It snags a lot! It feels good in your hand but the hook or tip as you will, is just too rough & it snags bad.

The hook came packed in a flimsy box, with no tip (head) protection, then mailed in an unpadded envelope. I noticed the head was bendy while I was testing it out. On my 5th row,before my 40th stitch, the head broke completely off the shaft of the crochet hook.So. Not. Impressed.I waited weeks before Ommi had these back in stock, and their shipping was very slow. I've cancelled my other pending orders for Ommi hooks, which I've had on order for weeks and they still hsve not shipped!

Well-made, perfectly smooth, and it's gorgeous! I want this hook in all sizes and colors, but they're not easy to find. Very satisfied customer!

The color of the hook is great, I will enjoy using it!
