I am a large 16 and sometimes even a 20 depending on brands. I went for a XL as we are always told to go for the larger size if in doubt, but a L would have been better. If you are a large 16 or a 18 you'd better go for a L. The XL skirt is silly long, even though I am 5.8 I had to fold it over 15cm so I wouldn't be stepping on it with 5cm heels. It was still dragging a bit after that. The headband is missing 5cm in order to adjust properly, as per other feedback for all sizes, so I had to cut it and add an elastic band which I luckily had. I also added a red cross in front and on the armband with red satin ribbon, as otherwise it looks more like a maid costume. The white top front is made in one piece and therefore quite revealing, it will show your bra, so you might need to wear an interior shirt. The skirt is made in two layers at the front, although sewn at the sides. I wish they had used 2 layers in the top so it would have been easier to wear. I also sewn a couple of large white buttons on the white dots. After all those alterations, the result was quite good, so I recommend it but be aware of the extra work you will need for a better fit and look.

Great outfit for fancy dress

Ordered this costume but sizing was very generous and it was far too big. Fabric partly nylon so not very substantial, but adequate.

Great value and quite roomy. Only downside is the length. I kept tripping up over it

Not a bad costume, headdress is very small and didn’t fit, go down a dress size as it’s huge, stitching fell apart but you get what you pay for

Not the best quality but if you added a puffy underskirt to it, it would add to the effect. My class loved it. PLEASE NOTE. as others have said, the headdress was completely unsuitable for an adult. Far too small.
