I used to use just the metal combs. They’re so hard to hold onto as you’re trying to get through a doodle’s coat. I was looking for some thing that was comfortable in my hands. I tried a couple different things. One of the ones I tried the teeth kept breaking. I haven’t had this one long, but I have brush both dogs and so far, no broken teeth and it’s very comfortable to use.

Works great for outlet long haired orange barn cat, he comes to breakfast every morning covered in burrs & such. Ya gotta be careful, the tips of the comb teeth are a bit “sharper” than I’d like and can hurt the animal if your not careful.

This comb is perfect for grooming my German Wirehaired Pointer. It slides so easily on her fur so I can grab hold of the lumps of fur she gets on her legs. Recommend this for grooming needs

I comb my long haired cat every 1-2 days to remove loose hair and prevent matting. This comb works great at removing loose hair, combs through nicely and I removed a couple of small tangles without any hair pulling or discomfort to my cat. Very pleased with purchase.

I have a maltese/yorkie mix that has long hair. I have used various combs over the last 12 years and saw this comb and decided to try it. This is the best comb ever. It really does glide thru knots. I really cannot believe how easy it combs thru. The features on this comb are NOT a gimmick. I wish I had this comb years ago. If you have a pet with long hair, get this comb!
