Pretty much plug and play. Only issue is now I have to run mower on full choke all the time. I have adjusted it several times and nothing changes. Either way, the mower is up and running now, and that's all that matters.

the float is too high when you get these carbs,at least, this model. had to order a kit because the carb would kill the engine when you throttle it up. pulled way too much air. in the kit they give you a gasket with half the hole blocked to restrict air flow. it is gasket material with an aluminum backing. poor engineering.

Cheap and worked great but only lasted 6 months. Purchased in April and solenoid went back this month in october. Didnt even last the full season.

This came the day after I placed the order so kudos for that! Carb is the exact replacement and only took me about 20 minutes to change out. Works great! I have seen replacement carburetors for these engines for over $100 and I would never spend that on a mower as old as mine.

I put it on my craftsman riding lawn mower. I belive it's a 15.5hp. Only mowed the back yard, but worked great after letting it run for 10 min or so.
