Fantastic pieces that have handled multiple jobs with ease. Like most tools they will be tested overtime but for occasional DIY like myself around the house and fixes external issues in the garden these are great value.

Mixed They aren’t awful.
I’ve had a few sets of these silverline trowel sets over the years, some kept and some had to be returned due to quality.Quality is hit or miss. You could get a good set or a set with issues.Welding and fit is not good so not great. First use with one of the trowels, went to load with mortar and the weight was enough for the blade to fall off as the weld was poor. Another broke off a few months later at the weld and you could see there was no weld penetration into the metal and rust formed between.Rusting is inevitable as the welding leave a gap between the metal where water and moisture creeps into as its not fully welded to the blades.The plastering trowel the casting where it is screwed snapped. This was after a year.The wood handles, some are smooth and nice to hold. Others are course and are splintering from the box.If you get a good set they can look and feel great. When good i enjoy using them and love the wooden handles when smooth which i why i’ve bought a few as they are very versatile and cheaper to buy.If the welding and wood finish could be consistently better then they would get a 4 star maybe even 5.
