An actual negative ion generator without the ozone.
I personally use it for depression and I can say without a fact that it has helped me very much not only does it make the air feel fresher but makes me feel much better and I am sure this is not a placebo because after just two days of turning it off I become worse again because I am in a room with loads of electronic products that just produce loads of positive ions with makes me lethargic. This product counters the positive ions and using my ion detector I can see it work 2 meters away with no problem and there is no ozone.I plan on buying one for my mother who has depression and chronic pain as I have seen it work for me.I have the older version pro that i bought directly from their website it arrived in 4 days and has been working flawlessly for over a year without stopping

Best ioniser by far
Best ioniser by far. I am just buying a second one. I sleep under it and get great recovery. Watch out for sparking if you have synthetic carpet as it is so powerful that you get charged up statically if you are not earthed. But just touch the wall before anything metal to avoid this. (Only in the case of synthetic carpet otherwise no problem). Thoroughly recommend!

every home should have one - allergies begone...
Negative ions eh? If you’re reading this then congratulate yourself as you’ve already taken the first step required in bringing a better mental and physical state to yourself.See everything around us, life itself, exists somewhere along along an electromagnetic scale and is all a question of polarity. Where you are placed on this continuum decides whether you are merely surviving as opposed to really living and thriving and like straws that break camels backs it only takes small changes to feel a big difference.Positive and negative ions exist naturally, each serves it own purpose and until recently on the human journey they existed in a beneficial balance. Positive ions are usually carbon dioxide molecules that have been stripped of an electron and are generated in abundance by air conditioning systems, fluorescent lights, computer equipment and hair dryers along with a great many other mod cons.A lot of people can “feel” the excess of these ions around and natural events like high winds, dust, humidity and pollution are also responsible for a sharp upsurge in these little fellows but none so much as just before a thunderstorm. It has been speculated that this is the reason why people and animals feel uneasy before a big storm hits as there is a sharp shift in the balance which has an instantaneous effect on the mood of the one effected and dogs are especially renowned in this sense. The fact that most folks spend a lot of time indoors, surrounded by positive ion generating devices leads to a habituation in the body as it strives to reach homoeostasis and the lack of correct energisation manifests itself as allergies, low mood and a host of other symptoms.Anyone who has taken a weekend break in nature or stood next to a large waterfall can attest to how different they feel, on a smaller scale each home is equipped with a negative ion generator in the form of a shower which, thanks to the Lenard Effect, also generates these happy little ions although the combination of heat and humidity renders a lot of them ineffective. For reference, fresh country air contains 2000-4000 negative ions per cubic centimetre, a large waterfall ramps this figure up to over 100,000.This NaturAir device outputs 200 million negative ions per cubic centimetre. To borrow a phrase from Scooby Doo and the gang, jeepers! That’s a lot of ion goodness for you and yours right there. But what are the benefits? Well I’ve been using these types of machines for nigh on 20 years now due to having sensitive eyes/sinuses and spending a lot of time in air conditioned environments which were doing them no favours. After researching and trying loads of different methods I stumbled across a few anecdotal reports from folks in a similar situation who had responded well to the addition of an ionizer. My first machine was a little cheapie that I picked up for around £25 and whilst it didn’t have a dramatic effect I did notice that my breathing became a lot easier due to the negative ions pulling all of the dust/pollutants out of the air (side effect was that the area around the generator needed to be regularly cleaned due to the now trapped gunk) so it was money well spent. When that machine finally gave up the ghost after running 24/7 for 8 years I invested in a slightly pricier one with a much larger output. This one didn’t fare quite so well, it was more powerful than my original device but it also created a lot of ozone which a) isn’t very good for you and b) creates a weird smell/taste that feels a lot like being next to a photocopier.Needless to say I sent it back after running it for a couple of weeks as it didn’t do what it said on the tin and repurchased my original device again. Now I was interested in this entire field and delved right in and found the myriad benefits a high negative ion presents and the range of issues it can help mitigate or prevent (ranging from SAD to light forms of depression, asthma and other breathing issues, allergies and sensitivities and quite a few more including stabilised circadian rhythms).Finding a device that ticked all of the boxes I required (good build quality, reliability, price, high negative ion output paired with minimal ozone levels, silent running and low maintenance) proved to be a bit of a challenge.A lot of companies supplying these devices advertise using inflated claims that have no bearing on real world results (ala claimed MPG ratings on cars) so after a lot of trial and error I came across this device from NaturAir and after a long and detailed conversation with the manufacturer I was satisfied with what his device had to offer. (If you search “NaturAir Twin Air negative ion generator - product review” on Youtube you can check the independently verified output figures). The ionizer was shipped directly from China (no import duty payable) and arrived promptly within 5 days. It was well packaged (see attached pictures) to keep it safe in transit and looks very utilitarian in its design, standing approximately 13x8x4 inches and weighing in at a substantial 2Kg.I plugged the device in and set it on my stand and immediately was hit with what I call an ionic breeze, you could actually feel the ions blowing out of this thing and there were no funny smells in sight which was a great sign. I kept it on the stand for a few days before I started to notice it making a slight whining noise which concerned me so I emailed the manufacturer. They promptly replied and told me that it requires around 12 inches of space all round and to be placed quite high for optimal efficiency and airflow. Armed with this information I placed it as directed on top of a cupboard (make sure you wipe it down to clean the dust off first) and it was back to being silent. The difference between this and my regular device is immense, as mentioned earlier my nostrils block up at the slightest hint of pollution, dust or dander in the air and since I’ve been basking in the negative ion opulence I can breath perfectly and clearly through both nostrils all of the time.Woohoo.I’ve also noticed that my eyes are nowhere near as sensitive and my allergies are now next to non existent. Mood wise I can’t comment as I’m generally quite a chipper person but overall I’m very impressed with this device and am considering buying another one to keep running at home as it just make me feel so nice. For those interested in doing more research I can highly recommend searching for the following:“The Positive Health Benefits of Negative Ions” by Jim English“Negative Ions May Offer Unexpected MH Benefit" by Joan Arehart-Treichel“Promising new treatments for SAD - American Psychological Association” by Tori DeAngelisAs they are solid scientifically backed articles that give you a good insight into the mechanism of action without any over the top woo and fluff that seems to surround this subject on the net.The kind folks at NaturAir sent me the ionizer at a reduced rate as they heard I'm a reviewer extraordinaire and all round top chap, if you found my words handy please show some love and click YES below and I'd be happy to answer any questions.
