Does what it's supposed to, my TV is quite old so only supports 1080i not 1080p, so the switch to use 720p is most welcome. Only loses a star because the USB power is pretty inconvenient, I don't really have the USB ports to spare, but I understand the device needs power to function, it would be nice if it could come with an 'in-between' connection of some type that can leech power from an existing source, as some controller charging docks have done. Also, I don't know if it's a problem with this converter, or the switcher I am using (which I have left a review for), but connecting this to a hdmi switcher, then to an elgato capture card, and finally the TV, the wii does not output sound any more. Bypassing the switcher to connect directly to the elgato works perfectly, so I like to think the switcher is the problem, but I think it's worth mentioning in case anyone can help.

Easy to set up and a small improvement when compared to connecting my TV sender unit to my TV with AV cables. Given the low cost, this is certainly worth the money but of course, you cannot expect a perfect picture if you are relying on AV cables from the TV sender. The cost of a HDMI TV sender is around £200 - just not worth it for the Bedroom TV. Arrived next day. Happy customer.

I couldn't do what I wanted to do with this product which was transfer VHS video to digital via Nero. It was probably an issue with my setup as opposed to the product. It seems quite well made so I cant complain. It may come in handy for future video transfers.

This product does exactly what it says on the tin, I purchased this product so i could connect an old 8 mm analogue RCA output Samsung video camera and covert its 8 mm movies into upscaled HD and then convert the movies into up loadable files using a usb3 capture card, it works perfectly up scaled in both 720/1080p, no freezing or loss of sound. I can also confirm that the HEJSANG 3 RCA CVBS Composite AV to HDMi will work perfectly through the Elgato HD60s making anything uploadable to YouTube, etc.

Doesn't work despite following all instructions- I just get a fuzzy screen with a faint image of what I'm trying to view

I bought this as I was having trouble with colour saturation on my Game Cube & Nintendo 64. Plugged this in problem solved. Great bit of kit for the price and now I can play Mario Kart in all's its pixelated glory!!!!

We sometimes need to push a picture from a camcorder into our projection system. The camcorder is analogue so phonos are just right. The picture quality is fine, we don't capture sound from the camcorder, so I can't comment on that.
