My dog kept sneaking into the cat's room to try to steal her food. This keeps the dog out and gives the cat some privacy from the dog. Very easy to set up, very east to open and close door. Even my young kids can open and close door with ease but still keep the door cracked to keep the dog out. Highly recommend.

My husband calls it the door belt. Our small dog and cat are always wanting in our room but don’t know how to close the door behind them, Ha! This keeps the door just open enough. We also have on on the front door to let them go in and out during the day. Sturdy. Easy to use, just perfect!

Easily installed and very effective.

These work well if all you want to do is keep a door slightly open. If you are trying to keep dogs out, they work, but not well. I have dogs and they can push their way through and make the pin that holds in the door latch break out of the door or break away from the plastic. Still a decent product and we have purchased more.
