I bought this or a fun project for me and my daughter during our week out of school. We are beginners and this was the perfect kit. It was easy to use and made really cute soaps that smelled great. I love that it comes with everything we need. It was a prefect project for our week off.

I was excited to get this only to find that the measuring cup was broken. Thankfully everything else was still in good condition. Guess I'll just have to use my own measuring cup. Otherwise I am rather pleased with my purchase

This is a very easy and neat DIY, I wanted to try for a long time and it is perfect to do along with my children and smells good too

As I had never made soap before I found there to be MANY important details missing in the sketchy directions given. I bought this kit BECAUSE I had never made soap. This was a project I did with my grandkids. First, and most importantly, the liquid soap sets up VERY quickly. After it is melted you are supposed to stir in the color powder and then stir in the scent. However, the soap has started to harden before you could possibly get those 2 steps completed. I finally starting microwaving it for 10-15 seconds so it could be poured into the molds. Second, if you followed their microwave directions to the letter, you wouldn't get it melted in any reasonable amount of time. Third, I think they should mention clean-up. The soap sticks to any pans or dishes you have used. You have to SCRAPE the soap off because if you put them in your dishwasher, you'll have a big sudsy mess.

I’ve been doing melt and pour soap for a while and I can tell this is a good kit for the variety of options if offers. We can make different mixtures and enjoy different scents. I’ll be having some fun with my kids playing with this kit.

Bought this to keep me busy through the winter, thought it looked fun and easy enough, then I bought a few more items to use with it and so on....I now make my own soap and sell it. Take a chance, you never know what will happen!!
