I was actually surprise to find that this little gizmo actually makes a decent loaf of cold cuts. I had become more concerned with the preservatives and salt in the stuff from the deli. With this I can make up a "chicken loaf" with ground up chicken, a tough of seasoning and a bit of plain gelatin (just a touch) to make sure it keeps a firm shape. I steam it in my instant pot and it comes out perfectly. I let it cool and then chill it. It slices nicely and makes a good healthy sandwich. Nice
