Decent and quiet fan with a nice price
With respect to my old fan, it used to take about more than 30 mins to dry the bathroom out and the noise was driving me crazy. Referring to this new fan, all things work out fast and sound. From all what I can tell, you should try it and it won't let you down.

Super nice fan. Easy to install.
I'm an electrician and I've installed hundreds of bathroom fans. This one is one of my favorites so far that I've installed. It's super quiet and works super well.

Just what I needed!
Had a very loud bathroom fan that this replaced. Had to manipulate ceiling hole to fit as the OEM on the house was 45 years old! Easy to do, however. The noise level is unbelievably quiet! Really, really quite! But it works well!

Super quiet. Install in 2 parts.
Today I installed this fan in a bathroom that didn't have an exhaust fan. The fan is extremely quiet and appears to be well made. I feel confident that it will last a long time.As others have stated, the fan as it is shipped is too large to fit through the size hole that the directions specify. That's because the plate that holds the exhaust port and junction box needs to be removed prior to installation. It's as simple as unplugging the power pigtail, removing 2 screws and lifting the plate off of the unit. Cut the 9.5" hole in the ceiling, insert the fan and secure it to whatever framing you have in the attic. Then, in the attic, wire up the junction box and and reinstall on the unit. Connect your duct while you're up there. Back down in the bathroom you still need to reinstall the 2 screws you removed earlier to finish securing the junction box/exhaust plate and reconnect the pigtail. The fan is very quiet so you might consider installing a timing switch so that you don't accidentally leave it running.

love it, I'll come back again for my own ...
I ordered it last week and got it yesterday already for my mom. I installed by myself today, ez set up. It is extremely quiet, just as described. Very fast and efficient shipping procedure. I have never expected buying such product without any pain. But the seller did it! Very ez to install and use! love it, I'll come back again for my own house.

Difficult installation, not as quiet as I hoped
This was a huge upgrade from the original laundry room fan we had in the ceiling, but I had to modify it to fit in the existing spot.I was surprised at the noise - it is definitely audible, but far quieter than what we had and your standard bathroom fan. I'd thought that ".3 sone" would have been nearly-silent, like the 120mm case fans in my computer, but that is not the case.Because the exhaust port and metal wiring box stick out of one side, I had to cut a hole in the ceiling larger than this fan is so that I could get it to tilt up in to the ceiling and then mount it. That meant doing some drywall patch work (which actually turned out to be pretty easy and looks great with barely any work). Then, the second problem I ran in to was that the metal wiring box does not have enough clearance off the mounting flange for 2 layers of half inch drywall, which is what my ceiling is. See pictures. Finally, I had to pry off one of the mount channels on the side - I was mounting the flange through 2 layers of half inch drywall to a 2x2 that was in the ceiling, and the mounting channel was causing the fan to butt out and not be seated flush with the wall. Hopefully the pictures show you what I'm talking about. All in all, happy with the quality of the product, it was just a huge pain in the ass to put in myself. If you're going to buy and you're not a contractor, have a professional do it.

Not quiet now
Installed in new bathroom 2 months ago and it was great - very quiet. Now it's starting to sound like one of the old style cheap fans everyone hates! I checked it out to see if anything got sucked into the fan, but couldn't see anything that would indicate a problem. It sounds like a bad bearing - and the barrel fan blades seem quite out of balance. This bathroom isn't even seeing steam from a shower yet! I'm a 30 year licensed contractor, and it was installed properly... I should have stuck with the Newtone or the Panasonic instead. Warranty??? I don't know. I hope so... Used maybe 6-7 times for a few minutes each time!!!!

Premium quality fan
Awesome fan. Installation is not bad at all and it's so quiet I can barely hear it running.I can feel the breeze when standing in the doorway of the room it's mounted in. Considering upgrading other vent fans in my home with this model. Highly recommended.
