Good quality item fit perfectly just remember to instal the correct way round or your mixer will not work at all

My stand mixer is and old lift-bowl design, before the tilt-top model. I took out the old brushes and compared to these - same shape and look except the old ones had worn down at least 3/4 of an inch over time. Super easy to replace, just make sure you pay attention to the little cut out on the brush and how it goes into the socket. I ran the mixer on a low speed for a few minutes to set the brush and then shifted up and down the speeds to make sure all was well. Quick fix and the mixer is running like new.

Was unsure whether these carbon motor brushes would fit my very ancient Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer. Yes they did!! Works great now. If I can change them out anyone can! Just followed a Utube tutorial for guidance. My mixer is Model K5-A.

Just used these to fix a late 60's K45 mixer. The original brushes were square (with no chamfer on one corner) and may have had a slightly shorter spring, but they worked perfectly and only took 2 minutes to change.

They work for a K5-A stand mixer from the 1940s. Don’t be concerned about them looking different, they provide sufficiently for the motor inside

It is 0.012 inch smaller (both dimensions) than OEM but appears to work fine.
