Amazing item, as a family we can rest knowing Nan has her meds at a certain time and they are easy to get to and she is taking the right amount. The only flaw is there is no volume for the alarm and it’s rather quiet especially because this item is probably used most by the elderly. Yes the red light flashes but the alarm my Nan can’t hear, if there was an option for it to be set higher would have made this perfect.Apart from the one flaw this item is amazing!!!9.5/10 from me

This has been a great life changing experience for my MIL! She is no longer spilling her pills. She doesn’t have a mixup on which day to take and she almost never misses her pills anymore! We bought the extra tray with the lid and that makes refills so easy. This was well worth the price and I only wish we had known about it sooner.

I have several clients using this type of a med dispenser the easiest thing to just trade out the trays when needed.

It’s a little tricky to set the time and alarms but I figured it out.My mother uses it and the reminder alarm is great. It dispenses pills into a slot and all she has to do is turn it upside down into her palm.Previously I used manual dosette. She would forget her meds occasionally and if she dropped the dosette there would be pills everywhere. If she drops this the pills stay secure in the unit.

A great price for both the key and extra tray for the original Med-E-Lert. The product listing has images of both the original Med-E-Lert and the Med-E-Lert XL, but these accessories are only compatible with the original and not the XL. As long as your Med-E-Lert is the original model, both the key and the tray (and the scheduling rings) should work for you.
