Double Sided VHB Acrylic Gel Tape 25mm x 5mtr Strong Adhesive Hi-Bond Clear

I was pretty ignorant when I bought this. It’s not worked for me, maybe checking it’s uses might help

Used for sticking Dashcam mounts to windscreens. It holds well, it’s not quite as optically clear as the 3M branded stuff, it isn’t quite as strong either.The roll should be kept in its bag when not in use, as the sides of the roll are sticky and attract dust and fluff which can be easily seen (and ruin the reason you’d want to use clear tape) when it’s apllied to a clear surface.FAR cheaper however than the 3M stuff, so for the drawbacks, it still performs pretty well for its low cost.

SORRY but I cant agree its very strong adhesive.... its nothing special... wish i could return ...

Thought I was buying a 3M product - this is is a look-alike but unfortunately has the habit, while still rolled up, of sticking to everything. So am a little disappointed.

I needed something to glue foam (soft, uneven) to fiber-glass (hard and flat). I had used rubber cement glue, but didn't like it as sometime I needed to peel the foam off cleanly for repairs to the fiber-glass. The foam part is replaceable. I've tried various double sided sticky tapes, but the adhesion with the foam was poor. But this gel tape is brilliant - the gel means it can meld with the foam, and yet it is also very well stuck to the fibre-glass.My only 'complaint' is that it's so sticky, it's quite hard to peel off the red-tape from the other sticky side!

good strong tape that I used to put insect nets onto my windows in the summer but really hard to remove the tape

This wasn't what exactly what thought when I bought it but it has actually turned out excellent and I have lost count of the number of different types of tasks I have used it for. It is one of the strongest double sided tapes I have used and often the smallest amount is enough to hold even fairly heavy objects in place or to securely join disparate and/or uneven surfaces..
