It DOES NOT SQUEAK. It's sturdy enough to hold me (I'm about 170 lbs). I would've preferred armrests, but they aren't necessary-and just might be in the way. I got my deer this season from this chair. One must be careful to place it when sitting on sloping ground, to avoid tipping over (Common sense!). I believe it'll hold up for many seasons to come-maybe a few camping trips as well-if someone doesn't steal it when I leave it in the woods. (The mesh does hold rainwater, however-a good shake and a wipe with a microfiber towel solve that problem.). It's comfortable enough for long sits, though I found it a bit too high (I'm 6 ft, with a 29 in. inseam, rather long-legged, so a shorter person may find it uncomfortable.).

This is a great hunting chair. I got it to sit in my blind. I love that it can spin 360 degrees and it is quiet. However, the chair is heavy, and I would not want to tote it too far.

I have my chair set up in a camouflage tent for wildlife (mostly bird) photography. The tent is by the same producer and is also first rate. I can easily sit for several hours in comfort and there is absolutely no sound when spinning to see a bird just outside the tent. The chair is also very sturdy and perhaps I sacrifice a bit of mobility for what is obviously a well-made chair for photography or hunting. I like this chair so much I purchased a second for placement in a separate location. I am very impressed.
