An engaging, thoughtful read for sisters and girls of any age!
I loved this book so much! It explored so many important topics (eating disorders, bullying, friendship, sisterhood, self-discovery) with candor and heart. The characters were dynamic and relatable, and the illustrations were awesome. I am so grateful for the author's candid approach and recommend that everyone pick up this graphic novel immediately and dive right in.

Excellent book!
Smaller Sister is a great story with excellent illustrations. The way Lucy looks up and cares for her older sister, Olivia, is very touching. Even though these two sisters are different and navigates experiences differently, their sisterhood is strong. Smaller Sister address issues of eating disorders, friendships, and confidence - with an overall message that it is important to love yourself, take care of yourself, and keep your friends and family close. Highly recommend!

Impactful & relatable story
Our family loved this book! The coming of age story touches on the unique aspects of sibling relationships that many can relate to in their own lives. It also thoughtfully enlightens the reader on the impact an eating disorder can have on a family as a whole. The combination of important themes and engaging, detailed illustrations made for a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience.
