These rattan ball LED lights are in a pale cream colour. They operate using three AA batteries - not included and as they don't need to be plugged in they can be placed where you prefer them to be.I was surprised to see the size of the rattan balls which were very much smaller than I'd expected. There's actually nothing at all mentioned in the main part of the listing as to size. For that, you need to scroll further down and there it states that the balls are 6cm in diameter but those I received were a mere 3cm - smaller than any lights of this type I've seen and very misleading.One thing that made me think the rattan parts were about 6cm diameter were the various online pics showing the balls in relation to other items so I can only assume they may have been pictured with very small books, pictures and so on. The 'wire' doesn't really 'almost disappears when arranged' as it is cable as opposed to just wire and given the tiny scale of the rattan balls the cable looks chunkily out of proportion.The description badly needs amending. Just as the balls are stated to be 6cm in diameter when they're actually 3cm, so the cable length - described as being 5m in one part of the blurb and 2m in another - is in reality approximately 2.5m.Is it all bad then? No - definitely not. If you're looking for smaller scale rattan ball lights, these look good when lit and the yellowish tone of the warm white LEDs, diffused by the rattan 'shades' is soft and attractive.True, the functionality is not huge. On/off and 'flashing' - no big range of light modes and no timer but you may not want such features. They appear to be well made and the price is reasonable - but not quite the steal they would have been had the rattan balls been 6cm across and the length of the strand 5m as claimed. The inaccuracies contained in the description and the fact that the value was only about average made me believe a 3 star rating was warranted. Were the description to be amended to reflect the actual sizes, I'd give these LED lights 4 stars.

These didn't quite have the effect I was looking for and just didn't look great.

I got these to decorate my craft room which has a huge metal storage rack that is NOT pretty. Strangely adding these very pretty lights really improve the appearance of the honking great chunk of metal. The lights to don’t provide a massive amount of light, but they have a lovely warm appearance that makes the room more inviting.Having the lights work with a battery pack makes it much more convenient, as you can place them anywhere without worrying about trailing cables. Luckily I have plenty of rechargeable batteries, but I’m not sure yet how quickly these will eat the battery life. The plastic casing for the batteries is a little flimsy and the switch is a little clunky and it feels like it might snap off. I don’t think it will, but it doesn’t FEEL solid.Apart from the battery casing, I really love these pretty lights and the effect they have on my craft room.

These lights are really pretty when switched on. They are a warm white as apposed to bright clear white but are very atmospheric. They arrived promptly and are easy to arrange, look lovely in a clear bowl or as I have done arranged around a large indoor plant.They take three AA batteries in a plastic case which is easy to hide when displaying the lights. I wish the batteries were included and would rather pay a little more as invariably I have to go out and buy the batteries to test and use the product. A good little set of lights at a realistic cost.
