Good sturdy clamps, served my purpose well, definitely recommend

The clamps are very sturdy, solidly made. Certainly good value for money. I wouldn’t say they are ‘light’ as they are made of cast metal so they have some weight to them.The only issue with them is the red shoes that each of them have to prevent the metal foot directly contacting the material you are using. A bit of epoxy would sort that out if it becomes a pain.

They do exactly what they’re intended for

Can’t fault these, they do exactly what they’re supposed to. I used them to clap a guitar neck down whilst glue was setting and it stayed on tight. If you’re using them on a wood product, as with any clamp, I’d recommend using a cloth between the wood and the clamp to prevent marks. I just wish it was possible to buy a set of two rather than four.

At first the clamps were great. Easy to use and clamped well. After a few uses one of the clamp slips and loses pressure all to easily. Out of the 4 I initially purchased only 2 are still working. Under close inspection I can see the teeth on the 24" steel shaft are being worn away and no matter where I place the clamp it just slips off. I suspect the teeth in the clamp are also worn and can't provide enough friction.Still 2 are working fine but for how long. Buy cheap buy twice I guess.

I wanted some clamps to hold together glue ups for joinery work. These cost less than others of a similar size but I'm really happy with them. I was a bit worried they might turn up and be cheap lightweight plastic things but they're not. They're sturdy, metal construction, and apply more than enough force. I can also use them to hold work in place while sawing or planing.There are plastic covers on the contact points of the clamps that fall off now and again but it's not a massive problem, a bit of glue would easily stop that, in any case they might be better replaced with bits of plywood.As an extra pair of hands, or to hold things in place for longer than you'd want to yourself, these are a great option.

The only thing I found an issue with is when you tighten up the bar, the plastic handle keeps on turning. I rectified this by glueing the plastic handles to the frame. Otherwise, they are good quality.

These are really good quality and heavy duty as described. I used them to glue and clamp a couple of wobby chairs.Fixed !.Just the job
