Great product, showed up when it said it would, the functionality was easy to use and accomplished all that I needed for my bikes. The feel of the instrument is study and the adapters are good quality. The storage box is good for garage use, but I’ll be picking up a pelican case for it later.Over all easy to use and great deal for the price.

This is my first purchase of a device of this type. It didn’t take me long to figure it out and clear the damn maintenance code on my 2019 Ducati Monster 1200S. Nice addition to my tool box.

If you have a newer motorcycle, don’t waste your time! This device will not work on any late EU model motorcycle. I tried it on several from 2018 to 2022 Ducati models. staying away from this product if you have anything newer than 2018

This works very well, It works on all 4 vehicles we have. He have a VW, GMC, Saturn, and a Honda and it reads the codes on all of them with no issue

This is a very basic OBD2 code reader for powertrains only. I was using a very old reader that had to be connected to an equally old notebook computer (running Windows XP) to read and diagnose trouble codes. When this MT100 reader became available to Vine reviewers I jumped at the chance to try it.Needless to say, the MT100 is much easier to use than my old cumbersome setup. There are no batteries involved and no bluetooth communications to set up. Just plug it into your car's OBD2 port and it fires right up, drawing power from the car's 12V system. The display is a small but clear LCD screen. The menu is simple and intuitive. The included pamphlet is well written but is largely just a tutorial on OBD2 terminology.The unit reads codes quickly and makes it easy to clear them. I tested it on a Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 and was able to find and clear one pending trouble code. The unit displays a basic description of any fault codes found. I didn't try to use any of the drive cycle recording functions but they appear to be pretty basic as well. I also tested it on a Gen2 Chevy Volt but happily no trouble codes were found.In all, there is nothing wrong with the MT100 and I find it hard to criticize how it performs. However, there are loads of basic code readers like this one available on Amazon and much more capable units for just a bit more money. My recommendation is to shop around to find the best unit for your needs.

And you don't have to be a mechanic to use it (though I'm sure it helps!)! The instructions and a Youtube video or two after its arrival and I was ready to go. It's quite easy to use and the instruction manual that's included in the box explains the bits and pieces that you really need to wrap your brain around. It's great how you get live information yet the whole thing doesn't even have a battery in it since it uses the car's battery power to run itself. Pretty nifty if you ask me! I'm slowly evolving into someone who does more of their own automobile mechanics and this certainly helps to prevent me from chasing down guesses and vague hunches I have about things while I'm learning!
