Tâches d'encre: French Composition (World Languages)

I needed to get this textbook for a French composition class, and I was excited about the possibility of using an electronic version at about 1/3 of the price. It is the first time I have rented an electronic textbook, though not the first time I have read electronic books. Unfortunately, the Kindle version of this textbook lacks page numbers that the hard copy does have, and since my professor likes to assign homework using "Ex. A, B p. 48" this is going to be a problem. Obviously, I should have anticipated that the kindle version would have no way of discovering which page each location in the kindle version is in the traditional textbook, but I did not, nor did I have any clue or hint that lacking page numbers was even a possibility!The textbook itself is primarily in french, which is good, and helpful for a french class. The exercises are valuable and instructive. The content is great- the format is not!

It's a good book, but the formatting of the kindle version is all messed up. Words are missing, accents are backwards, line numbers are off, and sometimes whole sentences and parts of activities are missing or unreadable. I had to buy this version as I am visually impaired and I feel I got ripped off. For the price of the book, they should of looked it over before they sold it.

Very useful in my French studies! Though it is expensive, I highly recommend purchasing it, as it can be useful as one continues his/her studies of the French language (particularly writing composition-- there is a section on writing a CV that is very useful!!) It features a lot of skills that are highly applicable to the real world.

I'm currently using this book for my French class. Content-wise I like the book and the exercises; this is one of the better French textbooks I've used. However, this "acceptable" book has been completely filled in and some passages are so heavily annotated that it's near;y impossible to read the original text. I'm concerned I'll be charged for the condition of the book when I return it :/

This is our textbook for a French class. As an adult returning to pick up a few classes, I am very impressed with this book. It is an excellent guide for improving French compostion.

I bought one of these books used. It arrived in decent shape, and I payed a fraction of what I would've at the university bookstore. But for the price, honestly I expected a bigger book. It has less than ten chapters and is no wider than some magazines! These go for about 160$ new...Come on! It's insulting really. The people who price these textbooks are incredibly greedy.

Excellent book for learning french composition. A little confusing sometimes, but I get through it :) the price for it was reasonable too
