I wanted a book but did not realise this was more for children

In discussion with my elderly in-laws it was good to identify the meaning of sayings they use.

Fab little book which I bought for my Ukranian guest. Easy for her to read and we've had a lot of laughs over the idioms!!!

Some of the explanations could have been enriched with more detailed historical context, which would have made the book more engaging. Overall, it's a fun read, but it left me wanting a bit more depth.

Our grandson is learning so much from this book. It's very useful and has been using the material daily.
