FABRIQ Portable Bluetooth and WiFi Smart Speaker with Voice Activated Amazon Alexa Chorus: Wireless Connectivity with Stereo Pairing for Multi-Room Home Audio (Midnight)

First of all, I'm an experienced IT integrator so I am use to a challenge - I know what I am doing. I could not get this device to work either with WiFi or Bluetooth - the app is horrid to work with! There is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT via phone or email. I liken it to 'marriage - a good idea at the time'.Many other reviews say the same - take a moment and read them - I did but through (incorrectly) I thought I could make it work with all my experience - WRONG! Good thing I got it through Amazon - at least I can get my money back.Spent HOURS with many 'resets' and trying different configurations - no luck - the YouTube videos were not helpful at all - did everything they instructed me to do (more than once) and still nothing.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!

This speaker is far beyond what I was expecting for a Bluetooth device. The quality, sound, and simplicity in connecting to WiFi is excellent! Alexa responds rapidly to a command, and the speaker array works to radiate impressive sound. This Fabriq Chorus is an excellent choice and I found it to be easier and better in all ways to the Bose Soundlink Micro which was a major headache to pair with Bluetooth. That I returned and I'm not sorry I did. Eventhough the speaker is cylinder shaped sounds emanate from the front of the cylinder only. It isn't 360 degree sound dispersion, but the sound quality is top notch. My compliments, FABRIQ. BRAVO! Peace...

I have had this thing for a couple years now .... When it craps out .. and it eventually will, you'll be on your own, other wise it's a decent sounding speaker if you can put up with the horrible app support. It can't find W-FI when it's 10 feet away. I won't be buying this type again, and WILL be reading the negative reviews and weighing them into my next buying Decision.

I got this to have an Alexa that I could take on the deck. The battery was supposed to be 6-7 hours, it lasted 2 or less. The device would randomly disconnect form my network requiring a restart (not good for something that is voice activated). I tried to e mail Fabriq for support, but the listed address is bad, and I tried to call but those numbers were disconnected. Thank goodness I got this from Amazon. I called their support number and they got me a refund quickly. I replaced this with an Echo 4 and a battery base, and it works great.

Have had our speaker several months now and are having issues. It is now very slow to answer and when playing music, it sometimes cuts completely off after just a few minutes. We have completed two complete reinstall set ups and have done a firmware upgrade but that has not solved our issues. Also, apparently you can not make phone calls or send text messages with this speaker. Would not have ordered it had I known this short fall. It sounds great when playing music. Meanwhile, I purchased another smart speaker to use in our bedroom and it is lightning fast, sounds good, and there are no issues making calls or sending text messages. This speaker cost 1/3 the cost of the Chorus speaker.

I expected this thing to just automatically work with my phone. However, it is not compatible. I can't download the app FABRIQ for this. I am going to send this piece of junk back.

Love it. Works better than expected. Picks up voice activation across the room. Super easy to set up.

I was looking for something like the Amazon Tap, but saw it wasn't being sold anymore. I was doing a lot of my own landscaping and didn't want to use a bluetooth speaker and my phone to keep me rocking and shoveling. So I was basically looking for a wifi speaker with Alexa. Battery lasted the whole time I was working on yard and only had a few connectivity issues when it was out of line of sight of house. Just had to place it on higher ground and voila, rocking and shoveling again.I liked that I just had to place it on the charging base and not have to mess with opening up TV the flap and plugging in micro USB port.Not an audiophile so I can make those kinds of comments, but didn't sound cheap and made yard work less mundane.
