I was skeptical of ordering these, as they are larger than the rings that came with my shears....YET, they are BETTER than the original rings. The original rings began to slip out of the scissors, which made using the shears a challenge. The new rings stay in place, due to their size and design. They are very comfortable for me, and they allow me to hold and use the shear, without being concerned with ring slippage and potentially being at risk for making mistakes because the ring is slipping out the shear in the middle of cutting. The former rings were doing that, which prompted me to find a suitable replacement. I recommend them.
