"You're next LaRusso! I own you".
Whenever The Karate Kid 3 comes into conversation I think I am the only one who shouts and screams about how much I love it. I never realised it was disliked so naturally I thought to myself "Is it good still"? I doubted myself naturally so decided to put it to the test and buy it on Blu-Ray and settle this argument (in my head).Straight away I hit a bump in the road as there was no UK or US Blu Ray but not all lost, those mighty Italians have released it in HD and managed to snag a copy on Amazon for under £10 so I was all set, it arrived in very reasonable time also. The case, cover are very nice, sadly no extras but I wasn't expecting any so no disappointment's. I re-watched it and surprise surprise I loved it even more. Im such a huge fan of the Karate Kid saga and this is a great sequel to the first film and carries on nicely after the second. We have new characters thrown into the mix but putting them together with one big character from the first film Martin Kove (John Kreese). As Bare bones as the Blu-Ray is there is still a lot to be thankful for. The cover is the original art so theirs no hack job with new cover tainting the original and the picture quality is spot on. The usual grain is present and the quality is not completely flawless but more than good enough to add it to your collection. I doubt there will be an anniversary edition anytime soon so I recommend you buy this to complete the trilogy.

A timeless good vs. bad story
I never saw the third KK film. Although still in my teens at the time, I considered myself too old for such silly stuff. The passage of time and my teenage sons enthusiasm for the current Kobra Kai franchise meant it was time to catch up with the third film from the original movie franchise. Well worth a watch if you’re a fan. Not on par with the first KK film so take a view if you are not enamoured by the whole KK series of stories.

The third best Karate Kid.
Perhaps should have been called Karate Kid 3rd best. After Karate Kid best (the first film) and Karate Kid 2nd best (the 2nd film). To be fair to the Hilary Swank film, that might be the best, I haven't seen it. The series is good though, or at least the first series is, I've not got round to the second one yet. One thing I would say about the Karate Kid films though, Daniel Larusso hasn't aged very well. Watching Back to the Future, Michael J Fox is still as cool now in that film as he ever was, but Daniel Larusso is a tricky person to aspire to, he's about as awkward as a lad of that age can be, and maybe that makes him more relatable, but I wanted to be Marty McFly dammit!!

TOO MANY INTERUPTIONS
Unfortunately, the movie was interupted on several occasions requiring me to search, re-load and resume. We did not enjoy the otherwise very entertaining movie because of these interuptions - We did not have these problems with the first two Karate Kid movies that we hired from Amazon Prime and wonder if there is an inherent problem with your movie. We know other friends hired the same movie from Sky and did not have this experience??

Brilliant movie
I rented this movie as I am huge fan of the Cobra Kai series and also enjoyed the other karate kid movies. Terry Silver played by Thomas Ian Griffith is an amazing villain and I am looking forward to his return in Cobra Kai season 4. Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita's performances were amazing as usual and enjoyable 😊.

Terry Silver - Cobra Kai Season 4
Watched this so that The Wife would know who Terry Silver was if he comes into Cobra Kai Season 4! He's deffo on his way. Hopefully he'll bring Mike 'Bad Boy' Barnes with him too. Woohoo!
