I bought this for when I fly. I hate being cold on a plane and this dies the trick. Wrap myself up and out.

I looked for a week straight for a travel pillow/blanket I could take on the 10 hour flight to Ireland. Since we were flying over night one way, and during the day, late into the night returning, I needed something that would be more comfortable than the pillow or blanket the airline would provide. I was pleasantly surprised how warm and soft the blanket was. I actually was able to sleep going to Ireland. I used the pillow on the return flight, and was GRATEFUL to have it! We had a 6 hour layover in New York And 3 additional hours delayed. 1 hour 46 minutes was spent on the runway in NY. As frustrating as that was, having the pillow/blanket gave warmth/comfort that wasn't offered by the airline until we were in the air. I purchased 3 more of these combos for other members in my party. They took were grateful to have them. These are a DEFINITE buy!!!

I just used this blanket for the first time on flights to Iceland and Amsterdam (from the US) and it was perfect! For one thing, I like to "hold" a blanket while flying to help me sleep and this was perfect for doing that. I put my phone in with the blanket, inside the zippered pouch and then put my arms through the luggage strap.The blanket itself is super soft, zero lint (I packed a travel lint roller bc some reviews stated a lot of lint came off- no issues for me). I used it each night in the hotel as I always miss having a throw/extra blanket to sleep with, this solved that problem.I washed both the blanket and the zippered cover when I returned and they came out even softer and fluffier than before washing. The luggage strap works great, I found it was easier to use than the clip but that also worked.

I took this on a trip to Costa Rica and it was great for on the plane and bus rides. Washes well. A little thin, but good size and keep me warm enough.

Unlike so many people who cannot read descriptions I know that this pillow is empty when the blanket is removed. I plan to maybe put a sweater or small coat in the pillow if I want to use the pillow cover and the blanket at the same time.I've been using one of the blankets for my husband who has been down for a week with a small infection. I can't turn the house heater up any higher so decided to cover him with extra blankets to help keep him warm. He loves how soft the blanket is and likes that he can wrap it around his shoulders without the bulk of other throws.I haven't washed the pillow cover and the blanket yet but there hasn't been any lint blowing around. The nap feels thick and I think it will wash OK as long as I follow care instructions.We bought these for a pending trip and based on other reviews I have already replaced the carabiner for something more rugged. I think these blankets will be perfect for our long flight.

This is a handy blanket for travel. It’s a good pillow when the blanket is folded inside, and the blanket is soft and pretty large. I took it on a two week trip to Italy. I used it as a blanket, armrest, shawl, and scarf. Easy to carry. Soft and cozy.I washed it and it came out like new.
