Easy to use, frequently changing batteries is frustrating
First, we love the home security these openers provide. We've had a number of car break-ins in our area and its nice to know the car garage door opener is inside the house at night, and not on the car visor. The opener range is good. With the size of car keys these days, it doesn't add much additional volume to our key rings. The battery life and replacement is a hassle. We've had these 2 units for a little less than a year, and I've had to change the batteries in each unit several times. Changing the batteries is tedious - now that I've done it a few times, it takes me about five minutes, but the screws are tiny, you have to pry everything apart, the parts on the remote fall out, etc. It requires a lot of fine motor control. There also is no low battery warning - it just stops working. Something to consider if you do not have an exterior garage key pad.Overall I'm glad we have them, and I'm unsure if more expensive models are any easier to maintain.

Instructions could be better…
I purchased the 3 button controller. These do work great and are very convenient to have 3 doors that can be opened and closed from one controller. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the directions are terrible. It took a very long time and watching several videos that others posted to figure out how to program it. The directions s start off well, but left out two important parts. If you’re actually reading this, let me tell you:Step 1) Press buttons II and III at the same time, the led will turn on. 2) Then press the button you want programmed the number of times corresponding with the color of button on the garage door opener, just as listed in the chart. 3) Press the button on your garage door opener. 4) while the led light on the garage door is still on which lasts about 30 seconds, press and let go of the button on your remote controller that you want to use. Keep pressing and letting go until the garage light comes on or clicks. Do not hold the button continuously like the directions say to do. 5) now you have to lock it in by pressing buttons II and III at the same time once more. And now you’re done! Clear directions would have been very helpful.

Got them to work with MyQ!
4-stars because I don't know the longevity, and for the confusion around MyQ compatibility. Here's my story:Moved into a new house with a LiftMaster garage door opener. Camera, Internet, Amazon delivery, blah, blah, blah. Don't know the model number but the Mfg Date sticker says 2021. I needed a couple small remotes to carry on my motorcycle keychains. Got these, then saw the "does not work with MyQ" business. Almost got ready to order a couple different ones, but dug through the reviews, found a couple people who said it DID work with a MyQ system, so gave it a try. It works! Here's where I think there may be some confusion, the instructions with these aren't too clear but if you look at the programming instructions for a genuine LiftMaster remote, it starts becoming clear. Here's what worked for me:1) Put the remote into programming mode by pressing A and B buttons at the same time.2) Press the button you want to use (in my case A) the number of times needed to coincide with the color of the Learn Button on the opener. In my case, 1 time because I have the Yellow Learn Button.3) THEN EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE ON THE REMOTE FOB. Yer done telling the fob what type of opener you have. This is not clear in the instructions.4) Press the Learn Button on the garage door opener5) Press the button on the remote that you used in Step 2. (in my case A). The opener clicks and the light blinks. All good, done!6) Test, and again, in my case it worked.Once I figured out that programming the fob, and programming the opener to recognize the fob were two different things, life was awesome. I also managed in my fumbling around to make the door opener "forget" the two original remotes I had. But now I knew the "trick", I was able to retrain the opener. If these last awhile, I'll be a happy camper.

Liftmaster Owners Beware
I followed the instructions included in the package to sync to my Liftmaster opener. Nothing worked, and was going to send back the product only to see on the website separate instructions for this Liftmaster. I was able to program easily once I followed the instructions on Amazon's website. It would have saved me hours of frustration if the printed instructions said to refer to the website revised instructions.

Easy to set up
Perfect, I read the instructions several times just to make sure I understood them and they worked perfect. I as I am only using this unit for one garage door, I programmed button A and B so no matter which one you touch the door opened, easy peasy ... I like the design with the slide over cover, we are using these to carry with us on our bikes, for ease of getting out and back in the garage, the chain and clip attaches nicely to the bike, or a key chain, or in my wife's case her phone case, Will see how well these ones work out, might order another and replace my unreliable poor range original equipment opener, clipped to my visor. Update review, taking a star off for range, now that we have used them for a while, they only work at 20 feet from door, which for our purposes is dandy as we use them on our bikes to get in and out of garage, but might be annoying for someone using with a car..
