lovely and bright.
I am one of these mad people who likes to do the hardest cross stick you can find on a white back ground. you would think i must have loads of free time. nope. i am in my 3os a wife and mother to two ASD. having to home school even through my daughter goes to normal school but her school are so rubbish i have to do their job. you are welcome. any way after a long hard day i like nothing more than making my life harder 😅😅. the tree was really fun to do. after that it got too easy and i got bored of it. then i was put in sheild lock down and cant go any where i got it out again. what a drag filling in the gaps. i at long last got it done but ran out of bright orange string on the last 20 crossers. 😡😡😡😡😡 my back is really neat so i know i wasted none of the string. now waiting what feels like for ever for the string to come and i can finish it. it is big and i would get a hoop to do this and more than one needle..mine ended up so bent its not really funny. the bubbles were fun to do as well. my friend asked me to do her one. i said i would do the tree and out line the block colour bits so she can do the colour fill in. every one is then happy. i would also get more black from the off. if your backs do tend to be good you will need to get more string which is easy to do as they tell which make and uumbers they used.

Shortage of thread
Brilliant chart, edges nicely bound, a good, challenging pattern, but as other reviewers have said, some of the threads are a bit short. I am about 2/3 of the way through it and have already run out of four colours. I am not very wasteful and haven't had to unpick any mistakes to lose thread. Perhaps what you get is pot luck.Update: 3/4 of the way through and I have run out, or will run out, of 11 colours. I would willingly have paid a couple of quid extra for an extra strand or two.

Beautiful cross stitch kit
This is a beautiful counted cross stitch. It has a coloured chart, great idea, which I haven't seen before, it also shows exactly where to start from it is in sections so it's easier to track where you are on the charts. It has 39 colours, all sorted. The aida is pre bound so there are no edges to fray . I can't wait to start on my Autumn Wolf. I'm ready for my challenge.

Definitely not for beginners
Being the first time I bought a cross stitch set, I typed in beginners and this came up. Really pretty so I ordered it. When it arrived I thought it was defective because it was a blank canvas. The instructions are terrible, I ended up sitting down with a pencil and ruler drawing out the grid to make sure I started centrally after the lame instructions of ‘the fold is the central point’ which is absolutely wasn’t. After two hours, I made minimal progress and gave up for the evening.Hopefully the end result will work out and my daughter will love it.EDIT: finished and happy with the results. It was time consuming but the end result was worth the frustration!

Beautiful
This cross stitch picture is such a beautiful concept, I brought two to make as presents, i am still in the middle of one but i am amending it to add another child and will be turning the balloons into the autism symbol to personalise for the person it is for. One down point I will say, is the holes are still quite small for a 2 strand thread and with the length of the thread it was fraying halfway through using, so I recommend cutting the thread length in half to avoid this.

Very nice kit but short on thread
Lovely design and easy to follow pattern. Everything you need is in the pack. My only gripe is that there is not enough thread for some of the colours and others have barely enough. So I've had to match up with other threads I've got and hope for the best. There isn't a lot of wiggle room for error! That said, I'm really pleased with the picture - I haven't quite finished it yet but it looks good so far. The colours are lovely.
