This Device could well become the next Best Seller in value Oximeters!
The Aeon Fingertip monitor is a surprisingly high quality Medical Grade piece of equipment that feels solid and well constructed. With a clear and informative OLED display.I have purchased several Pulse Oximeters over the past year including some of Amazons best sellers and during this time I have found varying degrees of quality with each item. Sadly many are not well constructed or of sufficient quality to be considered for medical use, such as in a Surgery or nursing environment, as they often break after minimal use with hinge failure being the main issue.Straight out of the box, I could immediately feel that the Aeon Fingertip Oximeter was different to other meters that I had tested. This meter really does feel like it is of a much higher quality build. Other Oximeters can sometimes feel toy like but the Aeon meter feels solid, professional and of Medical Grade Construction. The unit is Supplied with two easy to fit AAA batteries and a quick release lanyard for round the neck use along with a comprehensive and well written instruction manual which itself is a valid bonus. The display is bright, clear and easy to read, showing Oxygen Saturation, Pulse and Trace Monitor. The unit has a number of display modes which can be scrolled through at the touch of a button to suit individual parameter preferences. The unit claims to incorporate an advanced DSP Algorithm which improves the accuracy of low perfusion as well as Anti Shake technology to limit false artefacts. High & Low visual/ audio alarms are easy to set and adjust through the options screen on the device. The instruction manual states that this meter is suitable for use in the home, hospital (including clinical use in internist/ surgery, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics and Intensive care environments). In use I found the unit quick to respond, displaying output measurements in under 5 seconds or less which is impressive. When not in use, the unit powers down in around 15 seconds in order to preserve battery life.ProsEasy to useExcellent build qualityHigh AccuracyLow priceMedical GradeNegativesThe supplied lanyard can be a little fiddly to attach, but this is a very minor issue.Overall, this monitor has the feel and function of monitors costing several times this price. As a nurse, my wife has found this Oximeter to be perfectfor use in the medical environment as it is both accurate and reliable without feeling cheap or flimsy. The build quality appears high which in my opinion is worthy of 5 stars alone when compared to the myriad of other poor quality offerings available online.Last Word: Buy it....You won't be disappointed. If my review has in any way been useful to you, it really would be great if you could mark it as helpful.

Brilliant piece of kit
Very competent product at a very keen price. The only thing is the lack of 'plain English' instructions. This note from a friend may help people thinking about buying it:The oximeter is very easy to use. Put the batteries in, and itβs ready. The actual readings are what you want to measure over a period of time if you feel unwell, or as a matter or checking every now and then. The unit will bleep if your pulse drops below 50 (could be a sign of either being very fit or sluggish pulse). If it goes over 100, it wonβt bleep but over 100 is abnormal if you are sitting or just standing. The oxygen % should always be over 90%. Best between 94-100%. It may fluctuate. But 90% or below constantly and you need to see a GP quickly. The waveform should be a constant βhill and dale β without irregularities. If you have skipped beats they will show as a flat area between bumps. If the βbumpsβ are flat that may be a sign the unit isnβt positioned correctly. Only use your three middle fingers, and take care to do a double check on each hand (there can be variance),

Good quality and easy to use.
Brilliant. Very easy to use and reassuring as I have an irregular heart rate. It alarms when heart rate goes below 50, so mine always going off. So much more easier to use then a blood pressure machine if you want to keep an eye on your heart rate only. No case but then I really do not want to carry it around, box it came in is well padded. Has useful lanyard with it.

Excellent
I was a little worried about the accuracy when my heart rate seemed to be fairly normal but my wife's rivalled that of a hibernating dormouse, however, when she took it with her to the health centre the doctor put it on one finger and the 'professional quality' one on another finger. They gave exactly the same reading so the accuracy was bang-on. Conclusion: the oximeter is excellent and I am married to a dormouse.

........Not fit for purpose
I ordered this oximeter as a replacement for one that had broken. I have advanced pulmonary fibrosis and need to be conscious of my blood O2 saturations and heart rate. This machine didn't show a reading when I was exerted and my Sats & heart rate would be at their worst, I had to wait until my breathing was better before trying again and getting a reading. I returned it to Amazon as it's not fit for purpose.

FINGER ON THE PULSE.
Brilliant little device, gives you a fast visual reading of blood oxy level and heart beat and it also gives a visual pulse indication. I found this oxymeter to be quite accurate as i have shown his item to my health care worker and compared the results with her own oxymeter. So all in all a brilliant little unit

The best pulsometer that I have purchased to date
The best pulsometer that I have purchased to date.- I have had 3 others. This calibrates with medical professional grade products - the others did not.The product , batteries, carrying case and instructions were clear and straightforward. The screen information can be varied to suit the user.An excellent product.

Great Buy.
Very impress with this Oximeter. I took it with me when I visited my wife while she was in hospital. When the nurse came round to do my wife pulse etc the reading on the A300 was the same as the hospital equipment used.
