A well made piece of kit. At the time of my purchase there were 15 x 5* reviews and 3 x 1*. The 1* reviews - 2 snapped straps and one on waterproofness. The strap attachment is well reinforced and I suspect that the users just tightened them until the ripped - the point is to tighten to the point that the bag is held in place and will not move about. The fabric is clearly good quality and waterproof - like expensive cycle paniers, the bag is designed so that the zipped sections do not point to the front of the car so there is less water pressure from heavy rain on the zip. The zips are overhung with more waterproof fabric, I consider it highly unlikely that this bag will let water in, if seated in the correct direction with the zips closed and flaps covering, but if you have something where a little seeping of water through stitch line would be a disaster - then put it in a plastic bag.This bag seriously increased the car carrying capacity, with I imagine less drag than a normal top box as it rests on the roof (although I am no expert). It is fantastic that the bag then packs up small, so we do not have to find somewhere to store it or alternatively drive around with it all holiday.

Excellent solution for adding more storage capacity and a fraction the price of a roof box. It also holds more than most roof boxes and can be easily packed away when not in use. It packs away into a handy stow away bag about the size of a small back pack.Fastened securely to my roof bars without any issues and kept all my camping gear dry in on a very wet and windy journey to the Lakes. The zips are sturdy and secure and the material is thick, durable and waterproof.It isn't as streamline as a roof box and doesn't look as asthetically pleasing, but it's more practical and functional for a fraction of the price.

Amazing budget friendly roof cargo carrier if your going to be travelling long distances and the weather is not particularly going to be great.We used this to travel approximately 365 miles across the UK (Wales to Scotland). During our journey we encountered thunder storms, very heavy rain and even hail at one point. Despite this, our two full size suitcases, dogs food container and some boxing equipment remained 100% dry!Pros:- Weather proof with excellent, well made material.- Added security with the option to use a padlock in order to lock the zips.- Very good size and fitted 2 full size adult suitcases along with a large dog food container and some small boxing equipment!- Reinforced stitching for extra sturdiness of the straps.- Can easily be folded away to save space when storage is limited.Cons:- The ONLY con that I could say is that the straps do seem a little flimsy at first glance. However, we did use this with the “Handirack Inflatable Roof Rack” which came with additional heavy duty straps for even more added security.If you found this review helpful please let me know by giving it a like. :)

Bought for a family holiday to the lakes in our xc90, delivery was quick and was surprised how small it folded down. I used an air pump inserted through the zip to inflate to see the size. This is a big roomy bag and completely waterproof. The straps are plentiful and strong. It easily accommodated 6 peoples soft luggage for 7 days. The bag was stable, did not move on the anti slip mat and did not leak in torrential rain for nearly 400 miles. Once unloaded it was packed away which ment we had a week driving about without a big empty box to store or have rattling away on the car. On the return journey same again 400 problem free miles and now after a quick wipe down it is packed away ready for another trip. As a long time roof box user I will not ever buy another box when a bag is so much more convenient to use and store and a 10th the price.

This was bought very last minute before heading on holiday. It went through torrential rain twice. Everything inside it stayed dry.The straps are more than adequate, I had seen a review saying that they ripped off but I genuinely think that the pressure put on the strap must have been more than necessary to tighten it down. I had other ratchets at the ready just in case but the bag did not move over a 500 mile journey. I would recommend using it with roof rails or bars, but overall it’s a great product!

I agonised over which storage bag to buy, and I’m glad that in the end I took the plunge. The bag is really spacious, and feels sturdy enough that it’s unlikely to rip or tear. The zip is a little stiff, but only because of the sturdiness of the bag’s material.We used the bag on a camping trip and packed the bag on the car the night before, during which it rained. Everything was dry when we unpacked the next day.We haven’t felt the need to use additional straps, the bag was held tightly on to the roof bars and didn’t budge. No problems with straps ripping at all.Granted, it’s not the most elegant of solutions, but it does the job well. We take the approach of packing it on the ground, then lifting it up onto the car. We use a protecting mat, and may consider fashioning a piece of board to put into the bottom of the bag to make it rigid and lift it off the roof, but tbh we are not putting overly heavy stuff in it (bedding, clothes etc) so no damage to the glass roof on the car.It packs down into a small zipped bag, so great for anyone who doesn’t have space to store a roof box.

We travelled around for a week and it felt secure. Easy to strap down and seemed waterproof. Much cheaper than the standard roofbox.

Absolutely brilliant! We use this on top of our camplet. It's freed up so much extra space in the car. fits absolutely loads in, including camping table, folding cupboard and 4 folding chairs, plus misc bags crammed full of stuff. Completely waterproof. Zip is hidden under a flap which holds down with velcro. Attached to trailer frame it held very securely and didn't budge.

De zak is top voor op een karretje. Omdat het een zak is, is hij qua pasvorm dus ook te vormen wat ik heel fijn vond en voor mij belangrijk was. Toch is de kwaliteit heel stevig. En het is echt waterdicht! We hebben aardig wat regen meegemaakt. Niks was nat. De zak is ook makkelijk te bevestigen.

El cofre ha resultado ser bastante grande y útil. Es de fácil instalación. En mi caso no tengo barras laterales y no supe colocar los adaptadores que trae para los coches que no las tienen (es la primera vez que lo use). Les coloque esas cintas azules que compre en la ferretería para mayor seguridad y no se movió en todo el trayecto.Ha sido una buena adquisición para mis acampadas.

Après avoir hésité, j'ai fini par me lancer sur ce modèle. Il est plus lourd donc plus épais que beaucoup d'autres ce qui représente à mes yeux une sécurité.Les 6 sangles de fixation sont sérieuses ce qui rassure. Le tapis antidérapant fait la taille du coffre, et pas juste au carré comme sur l'annonce.Le chargement se fait par l'arrière ce qui facilite l'étanchéité à l'avant lorsque l'on roule sous l'eau.J'ai immédiatement essayé 2 grosses valises DELSEY de 80 x 50 x 30, mises sur l'arrière, et 2 carton d'archives sur l'avant. Avec les tendeurs avant et Arrière cela permet d'avoir une toile bien tendue qui ne flope pas au vent, et qui fait une pente progressive pour passer de 35 cm, la hauteur des archives, jusqu'au 50 cm des valises.Pour faire un bon test, alors qu'il n'avait pas plu depuis plusieurs semaines, nous avons essuyé une journée de pluie intense, le coffre étant sur le toit ... Pas de trace d'humiditéJ'ai commencé par rouler à 50 en ville, puis à 80 sur route, et enfin à 110 sur une voie rapide.A cette vitesse, pas de bruit, rien ne bouge à ma grande surprise ... donc test réussiCe coffre va servir durant les vacances, départ en avion, avec le coffre dans les bagages, c'est plus facile qu'avec un coffre rigide. Retour avec une voiture chargée pour faire 2.800 km ...Autre point important, malgré ses 52 cm de hauteur, le coffre ne fait que 1,95 m sur ma voiture, ce qui fait que l'on passe sous la barre des 2m, pour les péagesDonc produit sérieux, je vous en dirai plus lors de mon retour en FranceJe n'ai pas pu partir comme prévu, bilan après un test sur place réussi, je n'ai pas utilisé ce coffre de toit qui est disponible à la vente ... Stabil, wasserdicht, das Gepäck von 4 Leuten untergebracht und dann war immer noch Platz. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok. Die Befestigungsgurte sehr stabil. Bei diesem Artikel stimmt ALLES!!
