Italeri1:48 - V-22 Osprey

Having recently got back into Model making i really wanted to buy an Osprey and build it mostly due to seeing one fly in RIAT 2012. this model is my first Italeri model i usually get airfix or revel. i have to say the quality of the plastic and the details on it really impressed me. the instructions are easy to follow although because it was my first Italeri i got a little confused with the Painting instructions until my father explained it to me. i would highly recommend this model to makers and friends i havent finished it yet, im taking my time with this build (i tend ro rush them to get the plane built) i like the fact you can have 2 modes Inflight or stationary and the fact you can have the cargo ramp open or closed. all in all a good model and i cant wait to see it through

The last Italeri that was brought was diabolical, I wasn't sure about this model but I'm surprised. The only gripe I have is the body, It doesn't line up so have had to do a lot of filling apart from that I'm quite impressed. Yet to paint it but am looking forward to doing It.

Having flown in these, as a passenger, on a number of occasions I was keen to get a model of this aircraft. Very happy with the detail and size of the kit. Would recommend.

great kit lots of detail only downside is the rotors are either positioned up or down if following the kit but with a bit of alteration they cam be made to rotate up and down, otherwise its an impresive model when built

First time I’ve built a model in 40 years . Instructions are easy to follow , build took about 4 weeks

Having seen a great deal about this aircraft lately and then spotting this kit whilst rambling through the Internet's, I decided to purchase this 1/48 scale version by Italeri. So far so good. I have heard that some parts are difficult to fit, but as many have overcome this hurdle I felt I should also give it a go. It will be a while before I build it, as I have lots of other kits to build first, but I'm thinking they have wait a while longer...

I received to day still in the box this is my review I been doing this Hobby for long time and takes, dedication, patience and love to put one this guys together believe me, I looking forward to have fun with this model thanks

Bueno es maqueta barata .por lo que tienes por lo que pagas pero no kise gastarme doble para la maqueta de la casa hobby Boss que parece mucho más detallada y más realista.para alguien que no importa pucho detalle está bien .yo personalmente tendré que hacer de nuevo todos los surcos de panelado que están a revés quiere decir en positivo

This is a COOL aircraft and it would go well with the other aircraft I have !!! Always wanted one !!!!
