This lovely pincushion measures 4" x 4" x 2" and is filled with crushed walnut shells for weight and stability. (Please let me know if a non-allergenic pincushion filling is desired.) This pincushion sits firmly on the works surface and the natural oils in the crushed walnut shells lubricate your pins and needles. Made from 10 different coordinating fabrics, the pincushion top is paper pieced and topped by a bias cut fabric rosette and finished with a vintage white button. This item would make a beautiful and practical gift for those that enjoy doing any sort of needlework such as sewing, quilting, needlepoint, embroidery, etc. I use only name brand quilters quality 100% cotton and linen fabrics for my creations.
