Work really great to get those nasty little elastics out of hair. But if you’re not careful you’ll also cut the hair. Make sure you’re paying attention.

If I put a regular hair tie in my 2 year olds hair she will tear it right out but be trying to get hair out of her face constantly so I switched to the plastic ties. The problem with those is they can be very painful to get out. This solved that problem. It’s a very simple design, just a razor blade on a hook, but it does the job. I would say you do have to be careful not to just put the small end under the whole band and hope for the best because it’s still a razor blade and can cut through hair so I usually pull away one part of the band to cut but that is easy. My daughter doesn’t run away when I try to take her hand band out anymore so I would say this product does exactly what it is supposed to.

Perfect to cut the plastic hair ties. It makes undoing the ties so much easier without all the tangles. Just make sure you pull up the hair tie to prevent cutting the hair. I also loved that it came in a pack of three.
