RedberCosta Rica, Coffee Roasted to Order (Medium Dark, Bean 1kg)

Second bag I buy, and many more will follow, this has become my favourite coffee and the one I drink in a daily basis. I've been told many times about how great the Costa Rica coffee is, didn't expect I was going to notice such a big difference

Really high quality all-rounder bean for espresso machines. Some lemon and lime acidity, milk chocolate, and a long tail of... tomato. Different but delicious. When ground it weighs more than most beans at the same grind size, so maybe use a bit less. Good crema.

Tesco stopped selling their finest Costa Rica coffee, for some strange reason which really annoyed me - so I had to find a replacement -also decided to get my grinder out, well worth it this coffee is even better so delicious, in the evening I'm already thinking about this coffee and looking forward to the mornings to drink it.

Excellent for espresso and filter coffee and at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier.

I have long enjoyed Costa Rica coffee, usually supermarket quality, often as a substitute for my favourite, Kenya. This, though is the first time I have tried freshly roasted Costa Rican from a specialist supplier. Quite a revelation, I have to say, with, for me, definite notes of fruit and chocolate with no bitterness whatsoever. Very enjoyable indeed!!
