Amazing!
This training log is ideal, it doesn't take up much space in your gym bag. Its not too big and not too small. Its extremely simple to use and will last you quite a while. I train 5-6 times a week and I've had the log for about 4 months and I'm not even close to half way done with it so it will last you about a year or so I'd guess (depending on your level of activity)In this log you can track your monthly goals, your body measurements, and has a NOTES section at the bottom of every page to write about your training session. At the top of every page there is space to write what body part or split you are doing that day, there is also a section to write the date.My only complain is that the spiral bound version's cover might get a bit bent and messed up. Of course with time it will have its wear and tear but it will withstand it. I throw it on the ground before I do my sets, I've stepped on it by accident various times, I've spilled water on it by accident and its still going strong! Its really durable.Every few pages it has pictures of bodybuilders/fitness models/athletes with motivational quotes. I will definitely buy this again when I finish with mine, its by far one of the cheapest training log on Amazon, and really high quality. I apologize for the long review but I feel this log deserved it. Hope it helped!

Its an imperative arsenal in recording physical progress
The delivery time did feel a bit lengthy, but it's not their fault, I ordered the shipping date to show up when it did. Far as its appearance, it looks very good and decent. I would like some paragraphs to have areas you could write in the colums for supersets, drop sets, trisets or giant sets. But it looks great I can't complain about having a journal that will keep track of my exercises. It's very useful and I recommend it for everybody else

MuscleMag International's No Pain No Gain Training Journal
This training journal is nearly perfect for a serious bodybuilder. It could use more note pages for cardio days, but there is space on the bottom of the pages for cardio notes. My husband has given several away as an aid for guys that are just getting started in weight training. It's a great way to track reps and sets.

Pretty sweet journal
The item is pretty sweet. Good amount of available writing space. Easy to record. The pictures of the HUGE, steroid infested, juicehead guerillas throughout the book are supposed to be inspirational but I find them discouraging and make me want to quit working out. haha. In all seriousness, cool journal. worth the money.

Great training journal to track progress!
MuscleMag's No Pain No Gain! Training Journal has recently been updated and made even easier to use and track your training progress. This journal has everything you need to help make your workouts more productive. The new revisions of placing the goal tracking features at the front of the book really enhance your ability to review your goals at the start of each workout. I recommend this product to all my personal training clients.

exactly what I was looking for
not too small nor too big...just right...enough space to write in the reps and weights used....I only wish it had a little more space on the bottom to write down items that affect the work out....diet, feelings, etc.bought at Amazon.com and was delivered as promised....

Great book to record your training progress
This book is great because I was able to write down my exercises, the weight and other things. The training helps me keep track of my training progress. I would recommend this training journal to anyone.

Probably the best available, but could be better
Having purchased several training journals in the past, this one is probably the best so far.The front of the journal has information on target heart-rate zones, photos showing major muscle groups, and sections for personal data and goals & reminders. There are lines enough for up to 15 exercises and columns enough for 8 sets, the cells for weight and reps are big enough to write in, and the NOTES panel at the bottom is sufficiently large enough to record cardio information. The negatives are that the cover is, in my opinion, a little flimsy (my previous copy had to be taped up more than once) and doesn't handle daily use well, and there are too many 'inspirational' photos and quotations throughout the journal (36, or over a months-worth, in all) taking up space where data could be recorded. I don't object to the words of inspiration, in fact I would prefer it if they replaced the various Musclemag web addresses that are at the foot of almost every page. All in all, a very good training journal, but a stronger cover and less 'wasted' space would make it pointless buying any other!!
