No issues so far
I ordered the full sized bed frame in the pine color. It’s very warm, the color is most accurate in the photo where you can see the power strip (and dog).I assembled it by myself and got it done in 40 minutes working slowly. I totally disregarded the ratchet allen wrench that was included lol. That would have saved me a lot of time, but I have it now for future Ikea furniture assembly lol. When I started I did try to use the split lock washer, but the screws are not long enough to securely join the pieces if you use that washer. So I ditched them and assembled the bed with just the plain flat washers and screws. That seemed to work fine. One of the middle legs is slightly shorter than the others so I just put it in the middle of the center support beam. You’ll see the leg in the first photo has a little bit of a gap. I turned the leg a little bit and it’s gone now.I appreciate that they split the slats into two “pieces” so you don’t have to carry all of them at once. I don’t like that there’s so much space between the frame and the first slag, but that’s personal preference. My slats are separated 3 inches apart. No squeaking so far.I’ll update this review if I have to do any additional tightening or adjustments or if there are any changes. It’s the perfect height for my dog to scratch/massage her own back so 5 stars just for that.

Excellent bed, great value.
We bought two twin size beds to replace our king bed. We didn't need the extra length of a king but still wanted the width of a king so a full size was out of the question. I was truly surprised by how nice this bed is. It is extremely sturdy. Everything went together very easily and all bolts tightened down perfectly. Once together it is solid. No movement, no squeaks. It is much, much easier to move these beds around to clean under, to change sheets, and the shorter length gives us more room in our bedroom. I wish I'd thought of doing this years ago.

Sort of works OK
We've had a foam mattress we bought from Wayfair for several years now. Until we bought this we had the mattress on king size box springs (two twins side by side). The mattress developed body indents where we sleep and thought perhaps it was because it was on the box springs rather than a solid base. So, we purchased this particular base. Putting it together was not very easy. The supplied screws went into metal receivers predrilled in the base. As I tried to tighten them they seemed to move which caused me to not tighten them initially. But the base didn't seem to be very sturdy, so I tried tightening them more and most of them did tighten up. There were a couple that wouldn't tighten, but just kept turning. One of them was the middle support leg on the left side. I thought it would stay OK even though it wasn't tight, but it didn't. The leg fell off after one night and we couldn't get it to stay in place with the screw. It's just sitting there kind of supporting the bed, but I suspect that one of these days the bed will collapse when I sit down on it. Also, putting it together isn't immediately obvious. We had to try a couple of times before we figured out where what went where and how. So, I didn't give it five stars.

Seems solid so far
I've posted pics and measurements of the slats on the California King sized beds. Slats are approx 2.75" with approx 2.75" space between.Comments about the bolts coming loose on the legs lead me to believe that they weren't tightened enough originally. They have a lock-washer, so they shouldn't come loose. Nevertheless, I decided to use some thread-locking glue on the bolts. I also used a power drill with an Allen bit to assemble it. I felt some resistance as I screwed down, but then the drill sped up and screwed through another rotation or two - perhaps doing it by hand didn't get past that resistance. We're on a carpeted floor so I can't attest to the middle legs being a bit short - I measured them and they seem fine.

Best priced for the item here.
Came across this frame on a few sites but found it here on sale, few reviews mentioned the hardware can be finicky if you over tighten or use all the lock washers. I ran half of the lock washers on the outside legs and the frame has been solid without and creeks or pops. I was also hesitant to ditch the boxspring until I realize it was so damaged that was likely why I had back pain to begin with.

Great Sturdy Platform Bed. But a couple of bolt fittings were partially stripped.
This is an Excellent platform bed! Exactly as described and very easy to assemble, one person can easily assemble it. Very sturdy and well designed. But may have manufacturing glitches with bolt/nut hardware.Pros:Very well packaged for protection during shipping. It even included a mini Allen ratchet in addition to the Allen wrench that is typically provided with "assembly required" furniture. All bolt-on components were labelled with their matching counter-part and the assembly instruction booklet was very clear and easy to follow.Cons:The only flaw was that 2 corner legs each had a damaged nut insert and so 1 of the 4 bolts for the leg could not be properly tightened to a fully locking torque (partially stripped?). Fortunately the other 3 leg bolts worked properly and the leg corners could be very securely tightened on to the frame. This was the only reason I didn't give a 5-Star Review.

Great, high quality platform bed
My daughter had previously ordered the same bed in a different size and color and she raved about it. So, when it came time to find a quality platform bed for our guest room, we knew which one we wanted. Time has gone by, but the same excellent quality remains. There were a couple of mistakes in the directions, where you put in a screw only to have to take it out again because it interferes with the next step, but that is nit picky stuff. Once we get the mattress on there and some guest use, I'll update the review if necessary.
