Cruciform - looks good
The tap was delivered before the estimated date, well packed. I chose this one because the manufacturer's (Ultra) data sheet gives details of flow rates at pressures down to 0.1 bar. Mine is working well at about 0.2 bar hot and 1.5 bar cold. Fitting was fairly straightforward apart from the expected problems of trying to fit new items to old pipework which was not quite in the right place. The Cruciform has screw-in soft copper tails which have bottom ends enlarged to take 15mm connections. The tails are easy to bend, but also easy to kink if you don't use a suitable bending tool/spring. Fixing the tap to the sink top was not difficult using a box spanner mounted in a socket and extension - no doubt there's a dedictated tool available - but required working mainly by touch under my sinktop as the securing nut is behind the copper tails. The tap knobs are chromed plastic but look good, and control is very smooth. It's not truly a mixer, as the cold water comes out in a circular ring of fine jets surrounding a central column of hot (regulations?). A g ood buy.

Good to begin with...
I like many bought this with mixed expectations. It arrived and was fairly easy to install and replaced my existing tap rather nicely. However, here I am four years later on Amazon looking for a replacement as its non stop dripping and unable to replace/repair the washer. Great value but not built to last unfortunately.

All Good So Far!
Reading the very mixed reviews about this tap I am left with the thought that either these taps suffer from very poor quality control (i.e. some are good and some are not!) or the success of this product (or not) is down to how it is fitted. My plumber has just fitted ours in 20 minutes and commented that for the money it's a good tap. Only time will tell. Our previous tap was a well known make but failed after just 4 years. New ceramics would have sorted it but it was starting to look a bit tatty (we are in a hard water area) so this one just fitted the bill for not a lot of money. It's likely we will have a new kitchen or sell the house in the forseeable future so as long as it lasts a year or two it should serve us well.

I am at the moment very pleased with it
Had just a little problem on removing old unit. This was straight forward to replace with standard plumbing, and with the correct tools. The only problem is the awkward small space to work in.It is worth noting what tools are needed and the small allen key needed at the back of the unit tube outlet swivel pipe in case the O rings need replacing in the future. In fact I removed it before putting the main part in. I am at the moment very pleased with it, and the hot water works better on gravity feed than old unit which was poor. Obviously it will be a very good buy if it lasts okay for a number of years.

I went ahead and took a chance and can honestly say I personally am 100% satisfied with this product
Was sceptical when ordering because the price was so low and some of the reviews turned me off. However, I went ahead and took a chance and can honestly say I personally am 100% satisfied with this product. It looks great, is solidly built and came with all the attachments that I needed for replacing my old kitchen sink mixer tap. I am no expert at plumbing and I managed to finish the connection within an hour without a single hitch. The main swivel tap swings adequately and the hot and cold controls are smooth and work as expected. There were no problems fitting the horseshoe bracket under the sink and the water flows great when in operation. All in all a very good buy.

Came with identical short rigid stem flex hoses; the neck of the faucet is narrow so the fixing stud is too close to the hoses; I had to buy two different pairs of tails to get the stagger to clear the hexagon flats and even then I had to file the C washer and fit the hoses after the faucet was clamped. The seller only suggested sending the assemble back when I explained the problem but I had researched the size and shape I wanted and the actual faucet suited me but I am left with a lot of extra hoses. The hot flow from a loft fed gravity system is just adequate.

it looks and feels like a great product for the price
Haven't plumbed this in yet, but physically, it looks and feels like a great product for the price. It's a little thicker and less elegant than I thought from the photos, but by the same token, more solid. Good value, and recommended (again, bearing in mind that I haven't plumbed it in yet).

it look good and after some use(hot and cold ) find tap ...
use this for some time now. it look good and after some use(hot and cold ) find tap got a little bit tighter/ stiffer to turn but still able to turn tap without problem .Only thing is the sprout it very loose so you basically have to touch it with very little force for it to turn 90 degree for more. Did not bother to get change out as already thrown old tap .
