Outstanding product for a great price!!

The color is not as vibrant as the sample shown. It's almost like a dusty purple (think dusty rose, for example) it wasn't what I was expecting. The quality is good, nice and thick, yet supple.I ended up using it, I just wish it had been more vibrant.

The material was better than what I thought, high quantity and conformed perfect after applying the glue . I will definitely purchase more

First off the purple looks nothing like the photo. People always give the excuse “it looks different on different monitors”. Not this different! Look up “Polaris, cosmic purple” that’s what it really looks like. Somehow that company managed to take a picture of it that looks correct. It’s more like a raspberry with pink sparkles than the dark purple with silver sparkles like this ad shows. Also the vinyl is very thin and the backing fabric weave “prints through” the surface. And finally in this ad, there are several different colors of vinyl. I expected them all to be the same type of vinyl and that’s not the case. For instance, the ivory is much heavier than the purple. Oh and shipping took forever. They printed the label right away and then didn’t ship it for over a week.

The vinyl I received doesn't look like the picture. What I received is dark with purple specks instead of a silver shimmer. However, this was a DREAM to sew on my domestic and I will definitely order more colors. So far everyone loves my bag.I have since returned and purchased the bright red which is more orange than red so of course I have to buy a different color. Quality still great though.

The display pic looks like it’s taken up close in very bright light. The vinyl actually just looks dull purple from 2’ away. You have to get up close and look directly down on it to see the metallic.

I used this upholstery to redo the seat and back cushions on a new weight bench I bought for my GF as a Christmas present. I've used (real) "metal flake" glitter upholstery for years on my own weight lifting equipment as I have a 1950's/60's vintage theme going in my home gym, so I knew I wanted to use metal flake upholstery on her bench as well.This purple upholstery isn't exactly "metal flake", which gives off the impression that coarse flakes of glitter were sprinkled over the upholstery and then clear coated (think of amusement park rides at theme parks and county fairs that sparkle brightly). This is more of a fine metallic as the sparkle effect is less than the metal flake upholstery I use on my own items, but it still looks great and has deep color, which was perfect for this project. Purple is my girlfriend's favorite color, and it was a big hit when she unwrapped her present. I like that this upholstery is heavy duty and won't tear or break down easily (my own weight bench has been upholstered in this same weight vinyl for 8 years, and I use it 4 times a week!). Again, this color is deep purple (although my camera's flash makes it look lighter) and the glitter effect isn't great (less course, much finer than real metal flake). It's still a high quality upholstery, regardless and I may purchase more for other projects to match the weight bench in the future.

What great fabric!!! Arrived quickly and in perfect condition (on a bolt wrapped in plastic). Perfect fabric to re-upholster 1970s dining room chairs for a Danish modern vibe. Amazing quality, and easy to work with. If you love that old diner feel, buy it! You'll love it!!
