Will *never* go back to uncomfy disposables!
Update - reposted to add photo with difference between Petite and Regular variety pack. Hope this helps!I bought the Domino pads as I was experiencing some health-related issues with traditional feminine products. The issues caused me to have questions, and the questions led to research, and the research led me to try Dominos. I am so happy that I gave them a shot.It sounds weird and maybe a little gross to use a washable ladies product but with preparation, proper care and hygiene there isn't a problem with these pads. And if you have ever had irritation or other issues you even think might be related to feminine care products this product is worth your consideration. Here is what I have found, with Domino Pads:Cons:Costly initial investment - $5-15 a month to $40+ for a small starter kit is a big jump in money, even if over time you will save lots and lots of money without the continued purchase of reusables. And the return on investment will vary, depending on your current monthly expenditures and how many reusables you purchase.More time-consuming clean-up process - You don't pitch these in the trash. You soak, stain-treat and wash them. It is a messier affair that must be taken care of in the moment to be hygienic and so that the product lasts.Pros:-Economical - When considered as a long-term investment, this brand is one of the more costly initially, but with that comes no more monthly lady product expenditure. No more emergency runs to the store, either. These pads may even stop you from having other lady health expenditures as well. So, your personal savings in purchases and gas/car usage will, of course, vary.-Comfortable - It is like night and day. Like going from diapers to... grown-up diapers? Well, soft-as-a-bunny diapers. These pads are simple heavenly soft to the touch and I *love* them!-Awesome Coverage/Absorbency - These pads are larger than most other feminine products and even with heavy-flow days they are very absorbent. I have a very heavy flow the first day or so and I have yet to leak even once. Also, have you ever had your pad mash up on you? I have, and it doesn't happen with the Dominos which is another reason they are more leak-proof.-Healthy - For you and for the environment. Sure, you won't be putting toxic waste in the landfill but, maybe more importantly, these products are better for your body. Dominos aren't made of harsh man-made chemical ingredients that can irritate you at a vulnerable part of your body. They also aren't made of unbreathable synthetics. I won't go into details here, but if you are curious (like I was because of my health issues) then you should Google all the things that they get away with putting in your lady products and all the common problems that can create for your lady bits. It's not pretty. It seems fairly unethical, too.Good variety - This assortment is only a small portion of the options available from this company but it is a good starter set. Two of the pads are larger, thickish and great for heavy flow days, one being more so than the other. The third is quite a bit smaller, thinner and great for lighter days. I want to mention that I have used thinner traditional pads but that these Dominos aren't so bulky as some heavy flow pads I have used, either. Also, because they are made of soft fabric instead of plastic/foam/whatever they are just more comfortable and form-fitting than traditional products.Well-constructed - I can only vouch for having these a couple months, but I have already washed them multiple times each month. They are well-stitched. The fabric feels durable. They just give a sense of being both well-designed and long-lasting. There is also a warranty for the snaps, should the little plastic snap break - ever. That's nice, although I may have squeamish issues about mailing my clearly not-new pad off in the mail to be repaired... hmm, hopefully we never come to that point! No more adhesive. Anywhere - No more stupid, worthless wing adhesive. I don't know about you but I despise that stuff. How many times does it stick to itself, or the pad, rather than the undies? Exactly. No adhesive here! The Dominos are sort of pads on top of a pad. That black outline is actually a base that goes under the whole pad and extends around the edges a bit - almost like a wing shield around the whole thing. It is soft and seems to act like a final barrier, though I have never had it come to that due to the product being very absorbent. The wing itself seems to fit well around most of my undies - save a few that have a longer/thinner crotch gusset and, while wearing those panties, these pads can shift backwards a little on me if I am not careful. But, to be honest, I had more troubles with pads mashing up or becoming detached from the undies than I have had with Dominos' little bit of sliding.------My suggestion for cleanliness: In order to feel clean I change these out as needed and immediately hand-rinse the pad. Then I place it in a special container, or discrete spot, with a little bit of stain treatment on it and plan for a small load of laundry later that day for all the used pads I may go through. Yep, it requires a little effort and is a mild inconvenience, especially if out of the house, but I find that that the luxurious comfort is worth it for me. I am extremely pleased with Dominos and would recommend any curious woman to give them a try.UPDATE:So, when I initially reviewed Domino Pads it was for the "Petite" set I bought in October 2014. It was correctly listed under that Petite assortment at the time. For some reason, maybe when I ordered a new "Regular" set a couple days ago, my review was completely removed from the Petite assortment, and moved here. I wanted to note that, and I will be adding a copy of my review back to the Petite assortment because I want to note the LARGE difference between the sets. You can read the numbers, but until you see the items side by side there isn't that much of an impact. However, hold the Regular pads and liner up to the comparative pads and liner of the Petite set and the visible difference is just a bit shocking. My Petite pads are about 9.5-10 inches, with the liner being just under 8 inches. The Regular pads are 13 inches, 11.5 inches and the liner is 9.5 inches. Again, you can say those numbers and understand the difference but all I can say is when you see a 13 inch pad you are shocked. It's a bit longer than my forearm! Please note that the thickness of the pads are all consistent with each other (i.e. the heavy soakers are both comparably thick, the liners are comparably thick, etc.)I am not unhappy with EITHER set, but the Petite assortment has sizing which is much closer to traditional (i.e. Always, etc.) disposable brands you may be used to using in the past. I wasn't suggested for the petite range. I am 5'6" and 140lbs. They recommend the petite product as follows: "This package is our PETITE selection and most suitable for women below 5'4" and /or less than 135 lbs". Again, it doesn't make the Regular size items bad, it just means if you want a "normal" size pad you may want to go with the Petite set. If you want visual reference, please see attached photo of the difference in pad size between Petite and Regular assortments. If you like the idea of more coverage, go with the Regular set, which you can find here: Domino Pads Variety Pack -Regular- Assorted Colors Hope this helps!Bottom line: I am in love with Domino Pads. I like all the pads and liners I have gotten - Petite and Regular. I actually LIKE having a wide assortment, i.e. smaller pads for days I may wear leggings or thicker ones for when I have a heavy flow, the flu and just want to snuggle in sweats under the blankets. I plan to eventually get another set of three, and maybe a large set of liners, cause they are so comfy and nice to wear even just for those days you aren't on your period but want extra lady coverage. You know what I mean.If you have any interest in reusables you should consider Domino Pads. 110% recommended!

Worth a try for the shorter women out there.
I bought these pads on the same day as I bought a Period Mate 5 pack. I wanted to compare name brand to a lesser known brand while making the switch from Always Ultra Thins. I have used them for 2 cycles.Pros:- Size variety. I am under 5 feet tall and all 3 sizes fit well. Good length for all. The heaviest pad is not bulky and the liner is not wimpy.- Stays in place. I may have had to adjust the largest pad once, but in general the straps on these work very well.- No leaks. I thought the small wings might allow for the occasional leak but these are still way superior to my go-to disposable brand.Cons:- Cleaning. They are labeled as hand wash only. Screw that! I put them in the machine anyway and they hold up just fine, but they do not seem to get as clean as Period Mates in one wash. I always presoak and scrub immedately upon changing so I am surprised.- Material. The cloth against your skin is some sort of velvet velour. It isn't bothersome, it just isn't my favorite.Overall solid product. I personally will opt for a different brand for my next purchase as they are pricey and I personally like the feel of minky over this velour.

What a great idea!
After much research, I decided to try out reusable/washable pads to do what little I could to help with the problem of growing landfills. Everywhere I looked, Domino Pads seemed to be a favorite so I was extremely happy to find them on Amazon so I could give them a try. I wasn't sure what size I would need, but I liked that this petite variety pack had the smaller panty liner along with pads that had a similar length to the regular sized panty liners. It gave me the opportunity to see which size would work best for me.These pads fit snugly around my underwear, snap into place, and are EXTREMELY soft and breathable. The shape is similar to my store-bought disposables, which was one of the reasons I decided to give this brand a try. I love the feel of them, but I do get a bit of shifting when I wear modal underwear vs. cotton. It's not enough to bother me, but I thought I would mention it in case it was a concern of anyone. There is no bunching, though, and they are so comfortable it hardly feels like I'm wearing a pad or panty liner.I will definitely be placing an order with the company to build up my stash, so I was happy to see a little discount code in the packaging to help with this since they are pretty pricey (worth it, though). If you are just starting out on the cloth pad route like me, you will want to give Domino Pads a try. I just wish I had discovered these sooner!

The BEST pads!
Yes they are expensive, but I have tried other brands and these are by far the most comfortable. I love them so much that I bought 3 sets of them. I have stress incontinence. This is only a problem if I jump, run or sneeze, but I wear these every day just in case. I used to use disposable sanitary pads, but like these so much better! Less stuff going to the landfill. At the end of the day, I take it off and put it in a zip lock bag that I have in my laundry hamper. That controls the odors, then when I do the laundry, I dump them out of this bag into the washer. I do carry a disposable pad in a ziplock in my purse just in case, but have never had to use it. The thought was that I would take the wet domino pad and put it in the zip lock, then use the dry disposable one. I could then wash the domino pad when I got home.

6 months, and going strong!
I will be adding another set to my initial collection today! **edited to add: I have gone straight to DominoPads website to order, as I found you can custom select from a greater variety of pad options, and the shipping is very fair.**They are surprisingly absorbant, and I have had little to no leaking issues.I bought them because I found the standard maxi-pads and liners to be irritating to my nether regions, and the adhesive too strong as they were tearing at my pretty little panties. I do not have those sorts of problems with the Domino Pads.I rated one star less than five, because I find them to be a bit of a pricey investment.
