I ordered this for the looks and because my son's blanket was a little too "little kid" and I wanted something a bit more mature. This is why I love duvet covers! The ties worked perfectly and I was able to get his other comforter inside the duvet with no trouble. I washed it first (with vinegar) to try and soften it up because it is kind of a rougher material. It didn't make much difference. I am going to try soaking it in salt water to see if that helps. I have read elsewhere that soaking clothes in salt water can help soften them. It's a bit of risk since it is new material, but I will update when I do so to inform you.Once I washed the duvet and placed it on my son's bed it looked exactly as I had hoped. I can honestly say the design is versatile enough to last through several years assuming the material holds up. This would be excellent for a guest bedroom as well. The colors matched the pictures and the size was accurate as well. I am pretty happy with my order, and I am sure after a few washes (maybe in hot water) it will soften up more and feel even better.

This arrived with only the bottom fitted sheet! No top sheet or comforter! Ripped off!

Even though I received gray and not the striped style, I like it! When I first opened the package, I thought it was going to be rough, but I washed it once and it softened up real nice.
