TUSITA Bike Seat Post Mount Compatible with Garmin Varia RCT715 - Round,D Shaped,Aero Seat Post Compatibility

I have been using the TUSITA mount for my Garmin Varia RCT715 for about a year. It works perfectly and identically to the Garmin OEM mount that came with the Varia. I have purchased two of these now so that I don't have to switch mounts among my multiple bikes. Save the money. Get this one instead of the Garmin version.

I don't know if I was sent the wrong one or what. But, it will not fit a Garmin Varia at all. Not even close. It is too small for it to fit.Edit: It finally dawned on me that I accidentally selected the wrong one. I selected the one for an older model. I think. So, I changed my rating since it was my fault and not theirs. It does seem to be well made. I will just have to order the correct one.

Im writing a review because I have read some weird claims on here about fitting. First, this absolutely fits the RCT715, like it says. I am not certain about this, but pretty sure it ONLY fits the RCT715. I just saw one review that said it doesn't fit "Garmin Varia," then clearly showed a picture of the 515. 515 is not 715, thus it doesn't fit. The 715 has a little knob on the back. This should not be a surprise, and it definitely isn't rocket science.If you have the light it was designed to mount, then it is a perfect solution for you. i used it because its cheap(er) and works well. I do not mean to imply it is cheaply made though. I now have multiple mounts on different bikes. I ride gravel all the time. its rough gravel too and I have never once lost a light with this. I've had just about everything else rattle off the bike, but not the light.Hope that helps alleviate some confusion for anyone curious about this option. Again, just look at the light you are mounting. If it matches what is written in the description, then you're in business. If you have a different light, then I'd not expect this to work for you.

I've mounted this on a D-shaped post on a bike where the flat part of the post faces the rear tire. It's been on for over 100mi by now and has not moved since I put it on. I was a bit skeptical about the elastomer strap holding the mount securely, but it is working very well so far. It is much better than the OEM version which fell off my bike while I was riding (not once, but multiple times). I have also tried a KOM mount with a BOA-type wire connection system. It works, but that design is for D-shaped posts where the curved part faces the rear tire, not the flat part. On my bike, the mount tended to rotate to the side with the slightest of touch. Pretty happy with this Tuista mount so far. I gave it 4/5 stars as I don't really like the elastomer strap connection as these can stretch/degrade. It would be nice to see a connection that is not based on a rubber band to hold things in place.

I have a D shape seat post on my Cervelo R5. Fit very nice and secure. East install. Perfect angle for my garmin radar.

Aero seatposts are getting crazy. While this mount tries to resolve that solution by offering various attachments, it still didn't work on my bike (Yoeleo R12) so save your money if you are have same bike.Secondly, this is a pretty bulky looking and heavy mount, probably over engineered to take care of possible weirdly shaped seatposts.And despite being all that complicated it still attaches using rubber bands of which I'm not a fan at all.

This thing sticks to my seat post like it's welded. So much better than the stock mount. Will be buying a couple more for my other bikes. It's the mount Garmin should have made.

The Garmin mount works very well. I have a "D" shape post on my Venge. I was a little concerned because the "D" shape adaptor that comes with this is too big by about 1/4" inch (see photos). BUT....it surprisingly still holds extremely well. The three bands keep it in place very well. You can still move it my hand from side to side, but when riding it hardly moves at all, and that's after riding on chip seal, cattle guards, and pot holes. It's tricky and very hard to get on if you are using the bands...so be patient with it. If you were to use the zip ties, it would go on very easily. But I was concerned about the zip ties leaving markings on the seat post stem over time and opted not to use them. Overall, I am very pleased and impressed with it. I have seen too many other Garmin mounts on my friends bikes fail and topple to the ground...but I have yet to see one of these fail. In the future...I would like to see a smaller version of the "D" mount adaptor for those of us with narrower seat posts for more stability. But aside from that, I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!!! I have 100% confidence in its performance.

Fits nice and securely; Includes a durable elastic to keep it secure and zip ties for a little bit of extra security. No complaints.

Buen productos, pero no es compatible con el radar de MAGENE. He comprado varios productos de TUSITA y sin falla, pero resulta que la posición de anclaje de la VARIA y la MAGENE no son iguales (el mismo problema de WAHOO y GARMIN). No ves como en otros productos que con cambiar la posición del anclaje es suficiente. La solución que encontré fue ponerle unos tornillos más largos para que el anclaje tenga la misma posición que la de MAGENE. Estaré usándola unos días más y en caso de que no funcione la devolveré.
