Love these. Sharp well made and will last me for years

Good cutting action, and very sharp cutting edges. This is the 2nd time I have purchased these scissors, albeit the last time some years ago now. The existing pair remained very sharp, but with no screw type pivot they have become loose due to wear. Not real issue though, as I have tightened them up by using a vice and hammer on the pin. Now use these to trim various small items, including my many carpets were my cat decides to "snag" now and then. Highly recommended nail cutters indeed.

After a long search for a decent pair of scissors to last and match the performance of some very similar Boots nail scissors I've used for 20 years I came across this set. The blades are very similar and of excellent quality. The handles feel slightly cheaper and not as solid, but do the job anyway. They do an excellent job of hand and toe nail cutting, the cutting action is quite tight on the rivet, however this should ease with time. The finished cut on the nail is clean and not jagged. Overall this pair appears to be the best around today, better than any others around on the High Street or On Line. I'm very pleased with them. 4/5, would have been 5/5 if the handles were finished better, I can't fault the cutting abilities, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist!

These embroidery scissors are excellent when used on machine embroidery. Ideal for reaching into the hoop and cutting off the leading thread after a few threads prior to running the machine until a thread change. It's also good at cutting close to the fabric and embroidery cutting of the thread between design parts. Comfortable and very sharp, just what you'd expect from a brand like Fiskars. As in many things you get what you pay for and better to buy these than a couple of pairs of cheaper scissors that don't work so effectively.

These scissors are exactly what I need to cut my nails. They are extremely sharp and easy to position and cut cleanly. they are well made, reasonably priced and arrived as promised, well protected in the packaging. The handle is comfortable to hold and the colour practical in a sewing box as they are very useful for cutting thread as well.

lost another pair, they are really small and fall down and find their way into the tightest and most obscure corners. When I move home I'll be able to distribute to the parish poor at this rate.Quite simply they are the best. Not only do they cut finger nails but tough toe nails, that no others I have tried have ever managed. They feel flimsy, but arent. They are tough and strong and do the job they were designed to do.

Thoroughly satisfied with this product as an excellent substitute for the now out of production Wilkinson Sword blue ones which we broke. One of the main plus points is the size of the handles (fingles?) which are large enough to accept my manly fingers. Overall a very good buy at a reasonable price.
