EvansBass Drum Heads - BD22EMAD - EMAD - 22-inch Bass Drum Head

Replaced the stock supplied UT head for this. Quite an increase in general body, click and definition. Makes an already lovely wee kick drum sing. Haven't mic'd it up for live yet, (did do with the stock head) but sure it will be marvellous.

i personally love this bass drrum head ... no matter what size bass drum you have i am sure it will sound better with the evans EMAD ... it comes with two rubber or plastic material ( not sure which ) that fits onto the bass drum to make it have less resinance. i found the sound is now much qucker and has a more dry sound. well worth the money because the improvement is phenominal!

Just done my first gig with this skin, much better sounding than my previous (cheaper) Evans, not quite fruity enough for 5 stars but I may be able to tweek the tuning a bit and get it to sound a little better.Good powerful projection that will cut through the rest of the band, needs to be tuned fairly slack but I guess it's a matter of taste!Overall good value for money and great, quick delivery.

Easy to get a good sound out of this bass head. Two different thicknesses of foam ring included should you feel you need less damping but the thick one did it for me. You also get a pedal patch included but it's not the black one, it's clear.

Cette peau est de qualité Premium, elle sonne parfaitement.Le prix est certes plus cher que d'autres peau. Toutefois, il faut prendre en compte que le Package comprend un Patch de protection de peau (vendu de 6 à 10€ à l'unité) ainsi que 2 anneaux en mousse pour l'atténuateur de résonnance.Personnellement j'ai mis le plus gros atténuateur sur ma 22" Tama Royalstar et elle n'a jamais sonné aussi bien ! j'ai même enlevé la serviette à l'intérieur de la grosse caisse.Pour finir je précise que ma peau de résonnance est une Aquarian Regulator.

I’ve used Evans drum heads for many years. I use them on both my 22 inch and my 24 inch bass drum. They always sound great and are quite durable.
