Excellent Product
I have used Bondo products for years starting on the early 70s with small cans of pre-mixed filler. This was the first time I've used the fiberglass reinforced filler, so I was uncertain if my crude skills would be up to using it.Easy to mix, spread and form after about 20 minutes, starting with a rasp [grater] to knock down all the high spots while it was still fairly soft.I had surface rust bubbles in a couple of areas. Sanded them down, treated the rust with vinegar and distilled water, then Rust Fix by Duplicolor to convert the rust into a paintable base. Sanded lightly, prepped the Bondo [if unsure how to mix it, You Tube is a great resource. Don't stir it, fold it into the hardener, get a uniform color] and pressed it into the areas.Smoothed nicely and the repairs are now covered with a skim of Bonod Spot and Glazing putty, drying as I type this.I was afraid that the fiberglass in the product would be harder to work with than the two part Bondo I had used before, but it wasn't.I think this product makes a better repair than the standard stuff, actually. It just looks different.Take your time, appreciate your work and the more you do with sanding and surface preparation the better your primer and paint will look when finished.

Great product for a great price
I had a problem with my bathtub and shower, I had a crack, the cost to replace the whole bathtub and shower unit was close to 1800 period.I bought Bondo glass short Strand,Bondo Fiberglass ResinBondo All-Purpose Putty, andBondo Fiberglass ClothBondo Glass, Short Strand Reinforced Fiberglass Filler.I followed the instructions that’s available on YouTube and I applied to each one of them in the proper sequence Then I applied the primer paint and final paint.I was able to fix the defect. The total cost is $126 for everything. They saved me more than $1400.The only small problem that I had at the final coat of paint does not match the rest of the bathtub color. I highly recommend these products. If you use them try to follow the instructions that’s written on the item from outside exactly.Try to be patient with sanding. Make sure that each layer is sanded properly before you move to the next coat.I also had a ceramic tile that was broke.Instead of replacing it, I applied the same materials and got good resultPlease see the attached pictures.Thank you.

Overpriced and undersized
Pictures meant to make it look like a full gallon or big can but it’s actually the smallest one they sell. For some reason the smallest can is double the price of the big can at Canadian tire. I will be returning, why is this marked up?
